Natl1's RFA

[edit]
Hello IvanKnight69, thank you for the recent support in my recent RFA. However, even with your generous support the RFA did not succeed. I still hope to become a sysop in the future and have compiled a list of things to do before having another RFA.

1. Use edit summaries (I have enabled edit summary warnings) Grandmasterka, Jhfireboy

2. Mark edits as minor Jhfireboy

3. Not enough (2,000) edits for adminship Anthony.bradbury

4. 6 months of experience needed to become an admin. Nishkid64

5. Try more Wikipedia mainspace edits, policy edits, and Wikipedia article edits. Darthgriz98

6. Do not use fair use images in user namespace (sandboxes). MECU

Abbreviations (Transport in Auckland)

[edit]

Hi. Can you please note (on the article talk page maybe) WHICH abbreviations you refer to? I do not seem to see many that are either unlinked-to or not explained directly ahead of their first use? Cheers. MadMaxDog 09:14, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption Request

[edit]

Hi. I see you have requested adoption and I am seeking to adopt. Please take a look at my userpage and see if I am a good fit to be your mentor. If you agree to be adopted by me, then let me know on my talk page by clicking the "+" symbol at the top of the page and letting me know. If not, I would still be glad to answer any questions you have at any time. Welcome to Wikipedia! MECUtalk 13:53, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's what adoption is all about! So, please answer the following questions to I can help you better:
  1. What you want to get out of adoption?
  2. What you want to accomplish here at Wikipedia?

  4. What are your problems at Wikipedia?
  5. If you have any specific problems or questions I can answer now.

Also, please contact me at anytime for any reason. You can't possibly bug me enough. Even if you think it's minor and the 1000th time you've asked me the same question already on the same day, please ask if you are confused or need help. If I don't know the answer, I know people who will. I look forward to working with you. --MECUtalk 12:59, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BJAODN

[edit]

Don't just ask what BJAODN can do for you, ask what you can do for BJAODN. There are a horde of jokes out there that could use some attribution, so some work on that might not be a bad idea. — Rickyrab | Talk 13:18, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

February 2008

[edit]

Hi, the recent edit you made to Cameron (given name) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. —αἰτίας discussion 00:35, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
