[edit]I looked at the French version and you have done a lot of work on the translation. I made a few changes based on the updated english version. Please review and make changes as necessary.
I noticed a lot of red links, if there's anything I can do help witht he final 10 percent of changes, let me know.--Ccson (talk) 02:25, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for your appreciation. It's true there are a lot of red links but I use a template named 'Lien' which is different from your "Link" because 'Lien' allows us to place an internal link toward the same article that is used in the english version for example. But I don't know if it's considered like a real red link or not.It bother me because I'd like to submit this french article to see if it meets the french 'Featured articles' criteria. If these red links are considered like real red links, I've a lot of work to do and I'll certainly need some help.

- The problem is that clicking on the link does not take you to the english article. If you could pose a question to the french helpdesk, they may be able to explain how it works. Once you have the answer, I'll be glad to work on those.--Ccson (talk) 17:29, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
OK, Thanks I appreciate it. I've asked the question and the answer is 'a red link is a red link'! So I've started a campaign to turn the red links into blue ones. I've written a todo list too, and I think you can access to it. You can finish the translation if you want to; let me know. --Jackverr (talk) 18:34, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- My french is not good enough to finish. I can just help with some of the to do items. Take a look at the AutoLien in french. It's designed to not show a red link if the article does not exist. It's similar to the {{AutoLink}} in english.--Ccson (talk) 23:18, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
Autolink and Autolien have the same comment, namely : "This template should not be used in the mainspace, as red links are good." I don't know how far they look into the submitted texts when they review it. I'll certainly use it but not for all 'red links'. Thanks for the idea.--Jackverr (talk) 20:25, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
