A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
For your hard work in writing our article on the Soham murders, and for your forbearance when I copyedited it so mercilessly. I think it's looking good; thank you. John (talk) 16:43, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
Thanks, John. It needed trimming to a degree. :) Recall the collaboration with yous around six years ago on the Robert Black article. Have a nice weekend. K.--Kieronoldham (talk) 23:00, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
I remember! Any interest in Murder of Jodi Jones? It's in an awful state... John (talk) 09:53, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
I'll have a look at it in the coming days. Key.--Kieronoldham (talk) 22:59, 25 September 2022 (UTC)

Was that the little French girl in the 1970s? Sure, Davidgoodheart I'll get around to it for you. Regards, --Kieronoldham (talk) 14:38, 5 October 2022 (UTC)

Please make me a userbox that says this editor believes in the concept of it's better late than never! Davidgoodheart (talk) 19:34, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
Will do soon, Davidgoodheart. Sorry, had some dental surgery earlier this week on a wisdom tooth which was impacting against one of my molars. Not been able to focus on here for too long. Have a nice weekend, K.--Kieronoldham (talk) 07:55, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
Good job. Please add John Gregory to BOTH the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea solved cases section and the List of unsolved deaths. Davidgoodheart (talk) 22:02, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
Please add Shaina Kirkpatrick and Shausha Henson to the List of people who disappeared. I cut my right thumb today and might need to cut back on editing for a day or two. Davidgoodheart (talk) 03:09, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
Please add Franca Rame to the List of kidnappings. Davidgoodheart (talk) 23:26, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
Please add Mei Zhanchun to the List of kidnappings or List of solved missing person cases as I am not quite sure what list he should be on. Davidgoodheart (talk) 04:08, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
Soon, sure, Davidgoodheart.--Kieronoldham (talk) 03:44, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
Please add Mary Annabelle Bjornson to List of solved missing person cases. Davidgoodheart (talk) 01:37, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
Please add some more sources to Paul White (racing driver) and Paul White (rugby league). Davidgoodheart (talk) 19:46, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
Please make me this infobox: This user believes that Adam and Eve were NOT the first people and that it isn't unbiblical or unquranic to think so. Davidgoodheart (talk) 19:08, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
Just in case you were wondering why I think this here is a source for that: Adam was not the first man. Davidgoodheart (talk) 19:15, 30 October 2022 (UTC)

Sure. Give me a day or two. As for the infobox, I would, but I don't want to be accused of blasphemy by anyone, and certainly don't want to incur wrath from anybody. Hope you understand. You can make a UBX here--Kieronoldham (talk) 03:27, 31 October 2022 (UTC)

Please add SS Waratah to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea. Davidgoodheart (talk) 04:00, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
Thanks once again. Please add Ouzel Galley[1] to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea solved cases section as it is a ship that disappeared and reappeared two years later. Davidgoodheart (talk) 04:52, 2 November 2022 (UTC)

James Doxtator

Hi there. Could you please elaborate on what exactly the book "The World's Most Evil Murderers: Real-Life Stories of Infamous Killers" says about Doxator?

Thanks! TanookiKoopa (talk) 01:26, 3 October 2022 (UTC)

Of course, TanookiKoopa. I could add at least three other books which mention this fact, but the text, in pertinent part, by author Colin Wilson, states:

"Dahmer picked up a young male prostitute at a bus stop outside Club 219 and asked if he would like to earn money by posing for a video. They went back to West Allis on the bus and had sex in the basement. Then Dahmer gave the boy a drink heavily laced with a sleeping potion, and, when he was unconscious, strangled him."

Not in the book, but what I have read and watched pertaining to this case: Dahmer remembered the body rubs they gave each other prior to the intercourse before the drugging and murder. Doxtator had two very distinctive scars near his nipples which looked like cigarette burns. This helped identify Doxtator. His mother (I believe her name was Debra Vega) recalled those scars. It helped facilitate his identification as Dahmer was "75% sure" the picture shown to him of Doxtator was the victim, as he remembered him being a little more muscular.--Kieronoldham (talk) 01:36, 3 October 2022 (UTC)

I see. Thanks, Kieronoldham! TanookiKoopa (talk) 20:58, 3 October 2022 (UTC)

Started new section

Which includes what content, Davidgoodheart? --Kieronoldham (talk) 00:54, 4 November 2022 (UTC)

Start with this: Please add Ouzel Galley[2] to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea solved cases section, as it is a ship that disappeared and reappeared two years later. Davidgoodheart (talk) 00:55, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
pear-shaped
pear-shaped
Done. Well, Captain Rum would be impressed with the swashbuckling tale of convenience there. Also, the article seems to read in an adventuresome sleuth-reminisce format. Still an intriguing story.--Kieronoldham (talk) 02:55, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
Please add Leah Croucher to both the List of solved missing person cases and List of unsolved deaths as she went missing as her remains were later found and her death cause is unknown. Davidgoodheart (talk) 04:05, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
Done, Davidgoodheart.--Kieronoldham (talk) 01:12, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
Please add Henry Thomas Dundas Le Vesconte to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea solved cases' section as his remains were found after he disappeared, but his death cause is unknown. Davidgoodheart (talk) 03:09, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
Please add HMS Babet (1794) to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea. Davidgoodheart (talk) 05:54, 10 November 2022 (UTC)

Should that be a person aboard the vessel, Davidgoodheart? Would you like the entry to read Crew of the HMS Babet? --Kieronoldham (talk) 02:38, 11 November 2022 (UTC)

Yes, that is OK. Davidgoodheart (talk) 02:43, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
I hate Star Trek, but I'll ... make it so. :)--Kieronoldham (talk) 02:54, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
Have a good remembrance day weekend. I will get back to you after that. Davidgoodheart (talk) 01:44, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
I know I said after this weekend, but I thought that I would give you an entry first. Now I will contact you after Monday. Please add HMS Juno (1844) to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea. Davidgoodheart (talk) 20:07, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
Please add Harry Peglar to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea. Also please if you can archive my talkpage some more and it should go beyond just four archives. Davidgoodheart (talk) 17:32, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

Done. There's hardly owt on your talkpage at the moment, Davidgoodheart.--Kieronoldham (talk) 04:08, 19 November 2022 (UTC)

Please make me this userbox: This user likes TV movies. Davidgoodheart (talk) 20:23, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
Please add Kristin Smart to the List of solved missing person cases. Davidgoodheart (talk) 05:57, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
Done. Unfortunately I'm going to have to cut down on the number of entries. Don't mind adding the odd few or creating the occasional UBX now and then, but with work commitments and work requests, plus cases on here, I may not be able to action many requests within 24 hours (at least in the near future). Happy to help from time to time, though.--Kieronoldham (talk) 18:10, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
I completely understand. For now could please add Maria Hahn to the List of solved missing person cases. After you add this entry, I will take a break from giving you entries to add. Davidgoodheart (talk) 18:41, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
Sure, Davidgoodheart. Knew immediately whom Hahn was. Her death was arguably the cruellest of Kurten's murders. Was awarded Employee of the Month where I work recently. Being given more tasks to do for academy accreditation, so don't want to leave requests open for days on end.--Kieronoldham (talk) 19:16, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
No bitter pills, but I'm retiring - at least in the short term, but more than likely in the long term. Davidgoodheart. If articles become mentally impassible to all but the most studious/intrigued, and become (to use a term another user once described to me which I couldn't agree more with) "a wall of text", then I don't wish to be a participant anymore.--Kieronoldham (talk) 21:52, 24 November 2022 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:DeanArnoldCorllPasadena.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:DeanArnoldCorllPasadena.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 25 November 2022 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Charles Miranda James Macabe February 3 1980 Freeway KillerA.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Charles Miranda James Macabe February 3 1980 Freeway KillerA.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
