Film release dates
[edit]Unfortunately, I have had to revert your release date additions to several film articles. Since there are around 200 countries in the world, it is not feasible to record all the different release dates in the infoxbox. Therefore, release dates are limited to the earliest release and the release date in the country of production per WP:FILMRELEASE. Betty Logan (talk) 06:37, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. We have mentioned already about WP:FILMRELEASE. Out of all the other countries who share the release date, why the Philippines? Is there a notability from adding it? Kindly engage in a discussion or consensus to avoid edit warring. Thank you. Centcom08 (talk) 15:35, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- Despite my explanation and the warning from Centcom08, you have persisted in indiscriminately adding release dates to infoboxes on film articles. Will you please acknowledge you have read these messages and engage with the concerns. Please bear in mind that WP:Communication is required, if you wish to edit Wikipedia. Please stop. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. --Barry Wom (talk) 17:39, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
