Re: Dammage
[edit]It was deleted because your friend's band isn't what we consider to be notable. In order for an article to be written about someone, we require that there be at least two reliable, third-party sources to verify any information added, and/or they meet one of the criteria listed at WP:MUSIC (and whatever fact allows them to meet that is similarly backed up with a source). Another way to look at it is, would you be likely to find your friend's band in the Encyclopedia Brittanica? If the answer is no, they probably don't belong here either. Take a look though the pages I linked here, and they should answer most of your questions. If you still have some, though, please feel free to let me know. Orphaned non-free media (File:Modern Warfare 2 Box Art.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Modern Warfare 2 Box Art.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:34, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Roman Nose.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Roman Nose.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:06, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Brutal Legend cover
[edit]Can you supply a link to where you found the cover? The details on the image page need to be filled out to keep it and if you don't know how to do that, just give me the link and I'll follow through. --MASEM (t) 21:22, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, that's all that I needed to make sure there were no problems with the image. --MASEM (t) 21:32, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

The article The Book Club has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Does not meed WP:BAND's need for significant coverage. One article on a questionable site does not an article make.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fbifriday (talk) 07:57, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
