I did think that may be a possibility, but unfortunately I can't unblock the account without further investigation. There is so much going on I can no longer verify anything. All the CheckUser logs (whose IP was used) have now been erased and I don't know what I can trust. I actually contacted the vandal's ISP, so they may have been disconnected. Just looking at the contributions it's impossible to tell when the account was hacked, whether you contributed not knowing what had happened or if the vandal mixed in good edits with bad to confuse me. I don't know what I can do. There is no way to verify your identity. When you left, Simple had a long period with almost no attacks. A few hours after your return, we get a massive attack. The range block is not an accurate way to verify that you are not operating from that range, because our blocks can easily be evaded. Much of the time that you were online before you left previously, the vandal was also online.
