Delay

Hello. I'm sorry, but you will have to wait longer than a few days before I can renovate your user page. If you can see from all the sections below the section you left, I am extremely busy along with real life things, and other wikis. I hope this won't be a problem for you. Sorry, but the renovation has to be delayed. -- RyRy (talk) 04:45, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

No problem, I appreciate it any way.Gears Of War 10:51, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Removign comments

They are not incivil. Calling you incivil is not incivil, because you sometimes are. Shapiros10 contact meMy work 22:23, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Only warning

If I see you make one more edit to Jeff, regarding Jeff, or about Jeff, either here, on his talk, or anywhere else, I will block you on sight. This is Wikipedia, go edit something. Jeff is experiencing real life, and in about 10-15 years, you'll have a clue about what he's going through. Don't be an idiot. I will block you on sight. The block log will say "Keeper has ignored all rules and got rid of a pest". Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 22:33, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Jeff just personally attacked him. Check the latest diff on his talk page. I started an ANI thread on it. Shapiros10 contact meMy work 22:35, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
I have warned Jeff, and came over here to warn GoW as well - can't top what Keeper said, though. TalkIslander 22:37, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

I am glad Keeper weighed in before I could. You need to back the hell off. Posting on Jeffpw's page about his comments is one thing. Poking at his grief was so uncalled for that, had you done it in real life, you'd need a team of dentists and Oscar Goldman to fix you up. This isn't the real world, so you just dashed almost every chance in the world you will ever have of being an admin here now. Maybe recognize when to post and when to keep your hands off the keyboard. If you feel an admin acted inappropriately, ask another admin to weigh in. Do not go to the user's page and get aggressive and rude. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:38, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry it came to this, GoW. I really had faith that you stay civil. Consider yourself playing hangman with one body part left. Shapiros10 contact meMy work 22:39, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Please listen then, everyone. I dont want to be rude. This is something I had no intensions of doing anything incivil and then always end up in trouble. If it is possible, I would like my talk page fully protected to not allow any comments through to my talkpage. I dont want any more drama, and everytime I try to stay from drama, I get into it. I will appologize to Jeff, but also I will try harder to be his friend. I just wanted everyone to know that I didnt mean to be incivil but get an understanding why he was so upset with me.Gears Of War 22:45, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Talk pages are only fully protected for vandalism, no one is vandalizing. You are welcome to delete whatever you want to. Jeff doesn't want to be your friend, but I agree that you owe him an apology. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 22:48, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
I tried to but he has hs page fully protected.Gears Of War 22:49, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Dear Gears

I apologize from the bottom of my heart for my aggression. It was unwarranted, and not my usual manner of interacting. I am not myself at the moment, and am literally falling apart. but that does not excuse my rudeness. There is a vast age difference between us, and I think that was part of our misunderstanding. I am angry at the world, and you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. I wishyou the best, and am sorry if I caused you any undue stress. Peace be with you, Jeffpw (talk) 22:50, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Jeff, I too am sorry, whenever I'm in these sorts of situations, I over react. Friends?Gears Of War 22:51, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Gears, you just witnessed right here what it means to be a mature adult, something I'm currently failing at, and Jeff is exceeding. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 22:52, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Jeff, if you are watching this, I apologize for starting a thread on ANI about you. I did not take into effect that your world is in shambles. If there is any way that you can forgive me, please do. Shapiros10 contact meMy work 22:54, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes, we are friends. I know you meant well, and I handled it badly. Thank you for understanding my situation. Jeffpw (talk) 22:56, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: RADIOWP

I have responded on the talkpage. This is a great idea. RedThunder 13:20, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Please tone down your welcome template. First of all, it's far too long and cut-and-pasted from WP:FIVE, which changes fairly frequently; while the general meaning of the page won't change, you're far better off pointing new users towards the policy page itself. Also, "I am a part of Wikipedia and I would like to welcome you to Wikipedia" appears to suggest that you hold some kind of particular position with the Foundation – it would be best if you remove this.

If you do want to welcome new users, I'd strongly suggest that instead of this, you use {{subst:welcome}}~~~~ instead; this contains everything a new user needs to know, and is far less daunting for a newcomer to find on their talkpage than an enormous block of text.

Also, please subst templates like this when you use them - quite aside from the strain on the server caused by not substing, leaving a template transcluded means that any change in the template will result in changes to the pages which transclude it.

Finally, please remember to sign and date things like this when you leave them on userpages! Quite aside from the helpfulness to anyone reading it to know who posted it and when, having a timestamp is necessary for the bots to know when to archive it.

Thanks! – iridescent 17:23, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Rollback

Rollback granted

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you no longer want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Happy editing! WP:HAU, Status, and you!

As you may know, the StatusBot responsible for maintaining the status of the Highly Active Users was taken offline. We now have a replacement in the Qui status system. This semi-automatic system will allow you to easily update your status page found at Special:Mypage/Status which the HAU page code is now designed to read from. If you are already using Qui (or a compatible system) - great! - no action is needed (other than remembering to update your status as necessary). If not, consider installing Qui. You can also manually update this status by changing the page text to online, offline, or busy. While it is not mandatory, the nature of HAU is that people are often seeking a quick answer from someone who is online and keeping our statuses up-to-date will assist with this. Note if you were previously using your /Status page as something other than a one-word status indicator, your HAU entry may have been set to "status=n" to correct display issues. Please clear this parameter if you change things to be "HAU compatible". Further questions can be raised at WT:HAU. This message was delivered by xenobot 22:54, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Warriors: Firestar's Quest

Sure, I'll help make it a GA if I have time. Looking at it and using Moonrise (Warriors) as an example, I'd say it needs:

  • Expansion in the Critical Reception part and the Themes part
  • Move the 'Sequel' section into the 'Background' section
  • Add a list of characters

That's all that I can see right now. I won't be able to work on it much, though, because I have two other projects going right now. Maybe you should put Warriors: Firestar's Quest up for peer review? Shrewpelt (talk) 20:06, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:44, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Alfred's Beginning Drumset Method, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. help with 4X

I know you expressed interest in helping out with the 4X article. It's reached good status, but I'm trying to raise it up to featured status. I need some help with some images, if you have time. See my request at the VG talk page. Thanks in advance. (And if someone else gets to it before you do, I appreciate the effort anyway!) Randomran (talk) 22:51, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Damn! I got here to late to help...again! Sorry. If theres anything else you need help with just tell me. King Rock (Gears of War) 17:03, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Blue Dragon response

I didn't add the anime-exclusive characters, though I did improve on the ones that were already there. If you wanted an anime-exclusive section for that, start another page for it. Rtkat3 (talk) 2:48, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
