Thanks! I appreciate it. We may be slightly on different sides of deletionist/inclusionist camps at times, but on so many big cases we have the same thinking. I find Worldcat especially useful for humanists on easy cases. Would love to have coffee or a drink sometime in NYC. Funny thing is, when I saw the title my first thought was Thai street food, and it does look a lot like what I saw in Bangkok suburbs last year. I sometimes feel like getting consensus to do any change in WP is a move in the right direction just to combat stasis. Doing a good and needed change is even more important. I wonder if the next thing should be working to remove this line from the Miniguide: "Please be aware RfA is often a harsh, even brutal process. About Translation

However, there needs to be some sort of coverage that is cited -- was it covered in a local paper or on the Guinness website or something of that sort? Prof. Martin Vogel in Bonn

I am going through old drafts to find anything salvageable. Would you mind taking a look at Draft:Martin Vogel, please? (It appears to be based more or less on the German Wp page, BTW.) I have found a festschrift published in is honour and a number of reviews of his publications at JSTOR, but I would expect there to be an obituary or two out there somewhere.

I think that the Vogel article is very salvageable -- the subject is undeniably notable given the Festschrift. All it needs is to add the reference to the Festschrift and a reference to some biography somewhere -- if we could get the FAZ obit, that would be enough. Usually Festschriften begin with a biographical sketch of the dedicatee. We don't have it at MIT, but I'll be meeting someone at Harvard for lunch on Friday so I'll try to get over to their library that day and look through it. He's not in NG and I don't have access to MGG online here to see if he made MGG2's Personenteil. If it can wait until the weekend, I should be able to help with this.

Shart Page

I would like to know how adding the wikitionary link on the Shart page is not constructive. It said not to write the dictionary definition. I did not do that, I instead linked it to the wikitionary page, which seems like a constructive thing to do, because it shows that yes, there is a Slang term for it, without completely ignoring that fact, which is more likely to lead to vandalism.
