Public health informatics merge
[edit]Hi Museumfreak, Could you assist the Public health informatics merge discussion by explaining why "public health informatics" is so distinct from "health informatics" to deserve its own article. Thanks! — Donama 05:06, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Your thoughts on WikiProject LGBT studies
[edit]When you've got a few minutes, I was wondering if you'd take a look at my ideas regarding increasing participation in WikiProject LGBT studies? Thanks! – SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 01:46, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Shadowbot
[edit]Sorry for the accidental revert; I have Livejournal blacklisted as a spam site (for obvious reasons). Another user appears to have corrected the problem. Shadow1 (talk) 21:30, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

nursing informatics
[edit]Hi Museumfreak I found your name on Wiki Project Medicine. I would like to improve the Nursing informatics page but I could really do with some help from someone who knows the subject! A particular problem is that someone has created an ethical consideration section in the article but currently it has been left blank. If you have any ideas please add to the article or post on the article discussion page. Thanks, Safflle (talk) 12:26, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Survey
[edit]Hi Museumfreak!
I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!
It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!
Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!
Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! WikiWomen's Collaborative
[edit]WikiWomen Unite! | |
---|---|
Hi Museumfreak! Women around the world who edit and contribute to Wikipedia are coming together to celebrate each other's work, support one another, and engage new women to also join in on the empowering experience of shaping the sum of all the world's knowledge - through the WikiWomen's Collaborative. As a WikiWoman, we'd love to have you involved! You can do this by:
We can't wait to have you involved, and feel free to drop by our meta page (under construction) to see how else you can participate! |
The Wikipedia Library now offering accounts from Cochrane Collaboration (sign up!)
[edit]The Wikipedia Library gets Wikipedia editors free access to reliable sources that are behind paywalls. Because you are signed on as a medical editor, I thought you'd want to know about our most recent donation from Cochrane Collaboration.
- Cochrane Collaboration is an independent medical nonprofit organization that conducts systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials of health-care interventions, which it then publishes in the Cochrane Library.
- Cochrane has generously agreed to give free, full-access accounts to 100 medical editors. Individual access would otherwise cost between $300 and $800 per account.
- If you are still active as a medical editor, come and sign up :)
