Maintenance tags

[edit]

Would you be so kind to tag specific sections or sentences that are dubious in some way? before removing the tag I read the entire article and made sure that I didn’t see anything suspicious. Of course you might know more about the topic than I do and you might find some things that warrant tagging. Jehochman Talk

Caliber

[edit]

I do not want to change it because I am not sure if it is a German thing, but in the SMS S51 (1889) article, the caliber is L40 but is says it is 45 times as long as the diameter. Llammakey (talk) 20:50, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No, it was my mistake. Now changed.Nigel Ish (talk) 21:29, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

FAR for Pre-dreadnought battleship

[edit]

I have nominated Pre-dreadnought battleship for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" in regards to the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Hog Farm Talk 22:57, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Canadair

[edit]

Why did you simply ignore my "Or adjust CL-415 to be in line with this article, but either way there must be more homogenity between the 2 articles" statement??? https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Canadair_CL-215&oldid=1251719799 D4n2016 (talk) 11:49, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Because your change had the same information in the specifications twice, which is confusing to the reader, and there is no absolute need for all articles to be absolutely consistent.Nigel Ish (talk) 14:58, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:19, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
