Lupe Vélez

[edit]

Hello again!

I love being in touch with you again. Before all I would like to ask you whether you can use as references for the article the internet sites?. In the Web has many pages very well documented on some aspects of the life and career of Lupe. My own sources about Lupe's career in vaudeville, are the same ones that appeared in some articles on the web. Here I leave some links:

https://cinesilentemexicano.wordpress.com/category/actores-y-actrices-del-cine-silente/lupe-velez/

http://mitosyreincidencias.blogspot.mx/2012/12/los-poetas-enamorados-de-lupe-velez.html

I read some books about Lupe, like "Lupe Vélez: La mexicana que escupía fuego", by Gabriel Ramírez, and "Rostros e Imágenes", by Luis Moreno. However, I do not have those books (only fragments), and these books are not on the Internet. In fact, the first, doesn't have an ISBN, and it was a documentary work for the bibliography of the National Film Archives of Mexico (Cineteca Nacional). However, the authors of these books talk about Lupe in the TV show "The Story Behind the Myth", found on Youtube. Can we use that as a reference?

If you agree with that, we could place it on the page. If I had errors or problems with the language, it would be wonderful if you could correct it. I also edited the article on Wikipedia of another great Mexican star in Hollywood: the legendary Dolores del Rio. Believe me, my information is well documented. I can get photos of Lupe in the Mexican vaudeville. But unfortunately the copyright law of Mexico is more stringent than in the United States. That has caused me problems when wanting to upload images.

I send a big greeting and await your response.

Sincerely:
