Image copyright problem with Image:Readers Digest Logo.gif
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Readers Digest Logo.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NAHID 19:40, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:Readers Digest Logo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Readers Digest Logo.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Speedy deletion of File:Pepsi Old Logo.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Pepsi Old Logo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:File:Pepsi Old Logo.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Fair use rationale for File:Herriman High School Logo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Herriman High School Logo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 04:07, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Stop and Shop Logo.JPEG
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Stop and Shop Logo.JPEG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. File source problem with File:Stop and Shop Logo.JPEG
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Stop and Shop Logo.JPEG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 23:43, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

2010 census data for Freehold Borough, etc.
[edit]Your recent edit to the article for Freehold Borough, New Jersey makes some changes to data from Census 2000 to reflect changes in the most recent census data. One issue is that not all of the data is from the 2010 Census, as some of the data is not yet available, meaning that the numbers that are now being shown in the article are presented as data from the 2010 Census, while some of the data is still from Census 2000. What we have done elsewhere is to show data from Census 2010, while leaving the data from Census 2000 unchanged, at least until all of the Census 2010 data is available. My understanding is that there are automated processes being developed that will allow updates to be made to all municipal articles on a wholesale basis, rather than doing them piecemeal. The nest issue is that there is no source provided that shows where the 2010 data was obtained. Please understand that I am most genuinely appreciative of all of your edits to New Jersey articles, and that my goal is to ensure that the information added complies with Wikipedia policy on sourcing. Please feel free to contact me on my talk page. Alansohn (talk) 00:16, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
Revised ref for 2011 population estimates for New Jersey
[edit]Thanks so much for adding the 2011 Census estimates for places in New Jersey and hopefully I can catch up with the rest of the 2010 data still remaining. Can I suggest that you use <ref>[http://www.census.gov/popest/data/cities/totals/2011/files/SUB-EST2011_34.csv Census Estimates for New Jersey April 1, 2010 to July 1, 2011], [[United States Census Bureau]]. Accessed August 24, 2012.</ref> as a format so that the link works more effectively. I will make the tweaks in the articles you've updated so far. Thanks again! Alansohn (talk) 22:14, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Do not delete information, especially whole paragraphs from GA or FA articles. There were added for reason, mostly from reviewers in order to achieve GA or FA status. Bgwhite (talk) 20:10, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- I didnt delete whole paragraphs, only references that are related to things irrevelant. Don't harass me when you are a fool.
- I'd advise to stop with your derogatory comments. You can get banned for making such comments. You deleted a section on race statistics, not just refs. Also in the ref you have added to countless Utah articles, you state "Census Estimates for New Jersey April 1, 2010 to July 1, 2011" Please fix your error on all the articles you added this to. Bgwhite (talk) 20:45, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
I didn't delete it, I edited it because it was wrong.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Stop and Shop Logo.JPEG
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Stop and Shop Logo.JPEG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —JJBers 00:39, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
