Welcome!
Welcome to Wikipedia, RobertBorgersen! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk Pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)
I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. We can use all the help we can get! Have a nice day. Sincerely, Acetic Acid 00:30, August 17, 2005 (UTC)
question
[edit]And what do you think about my other edits (whithout the bloomers) in the ICOC article? --Karl 16:34, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- didn't look at them too closely...what are bloomers? Rob 23:03, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Aids in Africa
[edit]Robert,
I haven't changed your proposed list of organisations focused on helping with AIDS in Africa. I went to bed last night thinking the idea is good but this morning as well as length (I can find a list of about 90) I am a bit concerned about "focused". Both World Vision and SOS are vast (both over a $1bn turnover) and do a huge amount for Aids Orphans, but do so much on other things in other places that I am not sure they are really "focused" on this one issue. Do we want to list much smaller organisation who help in say 3 countries in Africa but don't do much else? I think having a list like this is a good plan but perhaps it should be on the open directory (where there is one) rather than here? Be interested in your thoughts? --BozMo talk 09:51, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Logo chumBobFM.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Logo chumBobFM.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 00:45, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
The article Jahia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- There was consensus to delete this article, not to create a redirect.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Haakon (talk) 23:00, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Motorola XT300
[edit]You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
A tag has been placed on Motorola XT300 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. SwisterTwister talk 02:19, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Google Cube listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Google Cube. Since you had some involvement with the Google Cube redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Flow 234 (Nina) talk 23:38, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
