I believe the assassin's name should be spelled "Yolanda Zaldívar" (the surname with a 'Z' and an accent above the 'i'). A quick searh on Google will confirm this. It is a common name in Spain and the name of an ex girlfriend of mine in Mëxico. If she (the assassin) or her relatives were born in México, it may be that the name was changed on immigrations form when they entered the country. My own surname was changed from the origial Norwegian to be more anglisized, so it does make sense.
