Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Tank (band) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.myspace.com/algytank.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 16:19, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Tank (band) do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Tank

[edit]

Your edits to Tank (band) seem meant to remove all mention of one post-2008 version of the band in favor of the other one. I don't think that's appropriate. See the discussion at the article's talk page. Huon (talk) 23:37, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Tank (band), you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Huon (talk) 23:53, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is an outright falsification. Whatever tankfilthhounds.net is, it's not the official website of the Tucker/Evans band. I'm not sure whether you intend to remove every hint that there actually may be an official website of the Tucker/Evans version of Tank or whether you just try to promote your own fan website, but faking links in this way simply is not acceptable. You have a history of one-sided edits at Tank (band), and I rapidly tire of checking the article once a month to repair your latest falsification. Consider this your final warning. You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent disruptive editing. It is clear that your principal aim in editing Wikipedia is to promote your own preferred version in an article, and to suppress any content contrary to that version. You frequently remove sourced content without explanation, add dubious links, sometimes add directly promotional text, and never respond to attempts to communicate with you. You deal with disagreements not by explaining your opinions with a view to trying to come to an agreement, but by edit warring to try to force your preferred version onto the article. Considering that you have been editing disruptively for nearly three years, it is surprising that you have not been blocked long ago. The length of the block is a compromise between what would be normal for a first block (a day or two) and what would be justified by the extent and persistence of your disruptive editing (an indefinite block). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  JamesBWatson (talk) 21:48, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion, as you did at Tank (band). From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Huon (talk) 19:09, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You can't say you weren't warned. Yet you persisted in promoting a fan website as the "official" band website when there's no indication of official endorsement, and you repeatedly broke the links to the Tucker/Evans Facebook page. This one-sided promotion, and more so the destruction of any indication that something other than your preferred fansite might exist, is not acceptable. Huon (talk) 19:18, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
