The word certainly has Aramaic connections, but unfortunately for you, the idea that the word as it is used in the Jewish Bible has equal and parallel Aramaic and Hebrew origins is not very credible, while the idea that the Arabic language had significant direct influence on Biblical Hebrew religious terminology is laughable. If people who know more about the details of a subject than you do are telling you that something is not accurate or helpful, then that's usually a useful warning sign. Your recent editing history at Wahhabi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Thanks I realise this hence why I am making a new section on the Talk page to prevent this continuing. My reversions were intended to enforce WP:NPOV as there was consistant violations from Organometalic1 regarding his edits which User talk:Mark Arsten is also concerned about. • Be careful about 3RR, some admins are very strict about it, others will be more understanding. So the user came right back and started again after his block expired? It might be a good idea to directly contact the blocking admin in this case in lieu of filing another 3RR report, although that's not a bad idea either. Mark Arsten (talk) 02:13, 14 June 2012 (UTC)

Athari Edit

Sakimonk, i think your wrong in asserting that I vandalised the athari page. I created the page, which was vandalised by others who clearly (prob like yourself) have assumed wahhabs views are also athari - they are clearly NOT - and at best you should have objectively stated that this is disputed. It seems like there a concerted campaign from misinformed individuals to assert this incorrect info onto wiki. I had commented on the talk page for Lady Godiva (song), but apparently you did not see it. Consensus on Wikipedia has determined that originals and covers of the same song should not be split into separate articles. Please read WP:SONGS where it says: "When a song has renditions (recorded or performed) by more than one artist, discussion of a particular artist's rendition should be included in the song's article (never in a separate article)". Politicized Disruptive Edit claim

Sakimonk, you replaced dates in an article with an incoherent mess of "CE" and "AH" dates which would lead to persons being born around 700CE and dying around 760AH. That is well over 700 years old. When I reverted this, you got very angry and posted that I am being disruptive. I understand that you are biased and have personal, political interest in replacing commonly-accepted dating with Islamic dating, but that is no excuse for factual error and animus when you are called out on it. Qadian is a city... Qadianis come form Qadian. You guys have made up that it's a slur, it's the most common phrase. The only reason you don't like it is because you don't want people to know that the only people in the world following qadianism are a bunch of people who live in like one or two cities. ahmad ibn Hanbal

Imam Ahmed rahimahullah spent his life in jail because of his work upholding sunni theology and the Athari school is part and parcel of the Hanbali madhhab - the hanbali madhhab is distinct because it incorporated theology into it as well! Imam Ahmed is the patronym of the hanbali madhhab and he is also one of the leaders in the athari school of divinity (sunni theology)! I just removed the names because it was cluttering the template and not needed because people can read about each school and find names. Sakimonk ^talk 02:40, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

I'm planning on adding some reliable text on opposition using George Halverson's Political Sunni'ism if that's okay? In the mean time you can revert it if you want?
