Hello, TRLIJC19. You have new messages at Wikipedia:Peer review/Give Peace a Chance (Grey's Anatomy)/archive1. TBrandley 04:20, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
RE: Do you know who changed it
I have went through the edit history. I found that Gimmetoo (talk · contribs) changed it. One example is here. Thanks for your changes. TBrandley 02:41, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Just so you know...I spend a lot of time reading the references so that I don't inadvertently introduce close paraphrasing into articles. It's not that hard to do when there's a limited range of expressing certain points. So, I am working on the article, just cross-checking sources so that I don't introduce problematic content. Risker (talk) 04:41, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- That's a very good idea. I left a comment on the article's talk page regarding the copyedit. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 04:44, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

I have seen your post on my talk page, but have been rather busy with my FA candinate being promoted, then put on main page, etc. I will look when I have time (in the next 4 days?) — M.Mario (T/C) 17:23, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Great, thanks! Congratulations on your FA! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 18:28, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, but I was wondering if you could review Nightswimming (Awake) for GA status, you don't have to though. Many thanks. TBrandley 19:11, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sure, but I may not be able to get to it until later tonight/tomorrow morning. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 19:12, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you so much. There is no rush. TBrandley 19:15, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Thanks for jumping in on that WP:COPYVIO chat. You said everything I would have. I also enjoy your other works. Thank you. TBrandley 04:58, 3 August 2012 (UTC) |
- Thanks for the barnstar, TBrandley! I think I may have gotten the IP to understand their wrongdoing in the last message I posted. Is there something shorter I can call you besides "TBrandley"; it's a hassle to write out, lol. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:01, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- You can call me Tate, as that is my real name. TBrandley 05:04, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- Much easier! You can call me Joey, if that's easier. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:05, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- Glad. Joey is also easier to write, thanks! TBrandley 05:07, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi Joey. I was wondering if you could leave comments at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Say Hello to My Little Friend/archive1. You don't have to, and if you do, there is no rush. Thanks.
- Yeah, I completely forgot! I'll get to it today. Also, I really can't believe the IP is still not getting the problem. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 15:53, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! I saw, I put the IPs talk page on my watchlist for now. Thanks again! TBrandley 15:56, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Suggestion
I have recently seen your expansion on Grey's Anatomy and I am truly impressed. I would, however, make a suggestion. Shouldn't "Broadcast history" be a subsection of Distribution? Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 11:25, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- I was basing it off of other FA TV shows, such as Firefly (TV series). Can you explain why it would go under distribution? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 19:05, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- "Distribution" refers to how the show was distributed, and the broadcasting process is one of the main aspects of the show's distribution. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 19:52, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) I still think it should be two separate sections. TBrandley 19:56, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

Season 3
Hello! Even if it appears I have been inactive in the last days, I have been working on Grey's Anatomy (season 3) in my sandbox, and I will continue to do so for a while. I will post the new version of the article in mainspace, when it is ready for FA Candidacy. I am going to edit the article using all the advice you've given me, which I am grateful for. Thank you, Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 13:08, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'll be monitoring it in your sandbox; it looks good! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 19:09, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- For now, I have only two sections/subsections ready for FA. The lead and "Spin-off launch". However, as I've mentioned above, I will post the changes in mainspace after the whole article is done. Cheers, Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 19:49, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
Hi
I just got to reading your messages. Sorry I was so late. Anyway, thanks, and I would like to become the "monitor". Thanks again! TBrandley 04:36, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, great! I'll give you a list of tasks in a little while. Also, would you consider leaving some comments at Wikipedia:Peer review/List of Grey's Anatomy episodes/archive1? Also, can you vote at Talk:Give Peace a Chance (Grey's Anatomy)/A-class nomination? Hope you can, TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 04:39, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Wow! I was already thinking about it; I saw. Already for the A-Class nomination. Grey's Anatomy episode list should be ready after the peer review. Good luck! TBrandley 04:40, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks; I replied to your comment at Talk:Give Peace a Chance (Grey's Anatomy)/A-class nomination. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 04:42, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I don't know where you are at with Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Say Hello to My Little Friend/archive1. Also, I'll get on the episode list's peer review right now/ASAP. Thanks, TBrandley 05:00, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- At this moment, I don't think I'll be able to review Say Hello to My Little Friend at the extent of what I did with Awake. I will, however, perform an MOS review and an image review, as that is required for the article to be promoted. The things I cannot do at the moment are prose comments and spotchecks. I'll do the image and MOS review right now. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:06, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. Spotchecks are normally done by the FA directors anyway ;) Other comments for that are there; thanks again. TBrandley 05:14, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Where have you seen a spotcheck done by an FA director? The only time they will do those is if no editor is willing to. Directors are there to check over the review, not do the tasks. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:22, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- I guess only sometimes. See this FA review; some others. Regardless, some other edior will do it at a soon point. And, I have fixed all of your issues. I appreciate your review. One hundred thanks, TBrandley 05:34, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, like I said; sometimes they do it. Actually, I might do a spotcheck because the article doesn't have too many sources; so it will be easy. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:36, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Comments?
Hey J! I have been planning on removing that table in Awake (TV series) for "Accolades" to create a separate list entitled List of accolades received by Awake, with three good full paragraphs for FLC. If that were to happen, would it be a good idea, bad idea, maybe? Opinions, thanks. TBrandley 06:24, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- I think that would be a good idea! But, per naming conventions, I believe the proper name would be List of awards and nominations received by Awake. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 06:31, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Great. I'll get started on it. TBrandley 06:33, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Plans
Hello ! The "Impact" subsection is an outstanding idea, especially because you found content that involved "Critical response", but was not actually "Critical response". It is a great improvement to the article!
I am writing this in order to update you with my current plans in the project.
- Get Grey's Anatomy (season 3) to Featured Article: I will be spending all my time on expansion, copy editing, removal of unnecessary content, accordance to criteria, etc. I do not believe I will become involved in other articles until I get this one promoted.
- Get List of Grey's Anatomy episodes to Featured List: As soon as I finish working on the article above, this will be my main goal. I remember that this was my first goal as an editor, but now that I've been acquainted with the Wikipedia policy I can do a much better job.
- Get List of awards and nominations received by Grey's Anatomy to Featured List: I am going to develop this article in accordance to List of awards and nominations received by Lost. Since Grey's is really successful series with numerous awards, there is plenty of information.
- Idea on List of Grey's Anatomy characters: I suggest we rethink the whole format, and change it from a list to an article. The article would be named "Characters of Grey's Anatomy", and it would use the style of Characters of Smallville. Why do I want this change? Because if we changed the list into an article we would be able to promote it to GA, and create a Good Topic (we have a lot of characters' GA that would be part of the Good Topic). However, I will be needing your help on this one.
- Episodes: I know I've stopped the expansion and promotion process for the third season episodes, but I will get them all to GA, and Grey's Anatomy (season 3) to GT, as soon as I finish the tasks above (that might take a while). I hope you'll continue to do the same with the season 6 episodes.
I can't wait for all this to be done! I would feel so content to know that I have a real impact on the project. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 08:29, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sounds good! But, I have already been working on List of Grey's Anatomy episodes (I got a peer review for it, rewrote it, and plan to nominate in within the week.) So maybe, you can work on the awards list? Then we can have two lists promoted. We can collaborate on the character list; and co-nominate it together. Everything sounds good! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 14:43, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, I was not aware that you had been working on the episode list. It looks great, well done! What do you think about my idea about the character list? Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 16:57, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- One more thing. You are not going to add seasonal summaries above the tables, are you? I know this was one of our arguments in February, but I'm considering the possibility that you might have come to agree with me. See List of Lost episodes. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 17:05, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, my response was on my phone; so now I'll give my to-do list:

- Grey's Anatomy: You know how long I've been working on this. It is being copyedited this week; and then I will nominate it for FA. If promoted, I will hopefully get the triple crown.
- List of Grey's Anatomy episodes: As I said above, I recently rewrote this and got it peer reviewed. Despite this task being below Grey's Anatomy, I will probably nominate it for FL before I nominate Grey's Anatomy for FA.
- Give Peace a Chance (Grey's Anatomy): I created this article, had it featured on the main page as a DYK, and promoted it to GA. It recently underwent a peer review; and I plan to get it copyedited. Then, I will nominate for FA, and hopefully get the four award.
- List of Grey's Anatomy cast members: After some cleanup and a peer review, this will be an easy promotion to FL.
- Ghostface (Scream): I know it's not Grey's Anatomy-related, but I enjoy the movie and recently copyedited it. I think expanding my editing beyond the scope of Grey's Anatomy is a good idea sometimes, because it furthers my experience. That said, I plan to do some cleanup and then nominate for GA.
- About the character list; I think that is a great idea. However, I think we should develop the remaining character articles to GA, because then it will be easier to write the character list. Regarding season six's episodes; I would like to get them all to GA, but not this month. Probably not even next month to be honest; because next month I'd like to work on the character list. Maybe I'll do a few episodes next month, but I think I'll save the majority of them for October. I still don't think seasonal information is needed per List of Family Guy episodes, List of 24 episodes, List of 30 Rock episodes, List of The Simpsons episodes, and List of Ed, Edd n Eddy episodes (all FLs). Looking forward to your response and future collaborations! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 17:45, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- I know it is not needed, but I just thought of it as a nice improvement to the article. But I'm going to drop it if I keep getting negative feedback. Thanks, Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 09:30, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
Hi Joey! Does your proposition from almost 2 weeks ago concerning the above episode still stand –copyedit, clean up, and paraphrase it? If so, are you planning on working on it anytime soon? --Sofffie7 (talk) 17:18, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, I completely forgot! I'll get it done today. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 17:30, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- OK, thanks :) Sofffie7 (talk) 18:32, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Follow up on Grey's Anatomy article
I've left some fairly significant recommendations about the copy edit on the talk page, and I'd appreciate your feedback before proceeding. Some of it is fairly straightforward, but some would have a significant impact on the work for which you are a primary editor. Risker (talk) 23:58, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've replied there. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 01:34, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
List of Grey's Anatomy episodes
Here is some final comments regarding that list. Also, I'll become the monitor for WP:Grey's if you want (I'd also like to). I'll put the user box on my user page. I am writing real comments right now as you read, and just leave this comment quickly. TBrandley 01:37, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

- How is Internet Movie Database a high-quality good source? Nope.
- In this case, I consider it appropriate. The source is not verifying an extraordinary claim, but merely the existence of these specials. If you search the title of the specials, they pop up on IMDb, TV.com, YouTube, blogs, etc. So clearly, they are real. The task was picking which out of those was the most-reliable, so I thought IMDb was. If you feel otherwise, let me know. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 19:21, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Hey
Hey. You might want to see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TRLIJC19 and my new one. It says you and I are both sockpuppets; aka, we are the same people. The IP has the sockpuppet. He also oponed one for me. OMG! See Fuzz's disscussion here. TBrandley 20:43, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello! I just looked into the whole sockpuppetry situation, and I believe the unfairness you have been judged with is simply outrageous! I can only hope that this enormous lie will come to an end! Good luck and hold on, Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 22:15, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

An administrative board has been added to the project, to make sure the internal processes run smoothly. Any member has the chance to join, and further information is given at the project page. Currently, however, all the positions are filled, so if you are interested, please contact the coordinator and you will be placed on a waiting list. There are many things to be done for the project, in an attempt to exemplify its best work. Below is a list of tasks, and guidelines:
Tasks and Gudelines |

Please try to follow these tasks to the best of your abilities. As with any guideline, there may be exceptions, so use common sense when applying them.

Weekly Initiative!
The weekly initiative this week, an extent of last week's, is to develop a Grey's Anatomy-related stub or start-class article, using the relevant guidelines above! Model your article off of a Grey's Anatomy page with GA status. Use your Wikipedia skills to fix MOS inconsistencies, copyedit, add more information by researching, and remove unreferenced claims! Barnstars will be awarded to users who destub/de-start their articles, and get the quality level promoted to at least 'C' class! You can determine if an article meets the 'C' class criteria by asking a member of the project's administrative board to review the article. Please do not change the article's quality rating yourself; you must have it reviewed by a member of the committee. A list of stub and start class Grey's Anatomy articles can be found at the project's main page. Take part in this initiative, have fun destubbing/starting articles, feel proud after the article you cleaned up looks better, and be rewarded with barnstars! Help make a difference and get started! Furthermore, if you notice that any user has participated in any weekly initiative and was not rewarded, give them a barnstar ASAP!
Have fun, and don't forget to cite everything you write! We hope to see several expanded articles soon!

I hate to rush you, but just here to let you know that it has been nearly a week since you named yourself reviewer for Nightswimming (Awake). Just reminded you in case you forgot, again, still no huge rush. Thanks! TBrandley 01:21, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello
Hey! I have added more production to "Say Hello to My Little Friend". I'd appreciate some feedback, thanks! Oh, and also, thanks for promoting me to monitor. Which pages should I monitor? TBrandley 18:49, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Invitation!
Hello TRLIJC19, I would like to thank you for your contributions to an Awake-related article. Since it appears you are interested in this topic, I would like to personally invite you to join the Awake task force! This project consists of a group of users, collaborating to make articles related to Awake better. Our primary goal is to get as many articles as we can promoted to good and featured statuses, by developing, and reverting vandalism to them. We would be extraordinarily pleased if you decided to join our project, and help make a difference. If you are interested, all you have to do is add this code: [[Category:Awake task force participants]]
, to your user page, and you are officially a member. If you are having trouble joining, or have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. Again, thank you for your help, and I hope to see you as a member of the project soon! TBrandley 03:10, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hmm, that message sounds oddly familiar. It's as if I wrote it or something ;) Also, when placing this template on other users' talk pages, you must subst the template, by writing: {{subst:WP-Awake|~~~~}} TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:17, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, that came from you. So thanks, and I'll remember to subst from now on. Thanks! TBrandley 03:20, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Have you made a decision then? Thanks, TBrandley 01:15, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, that came from you. So thanks, and I'll remember to subst from now on. Thanks! TBrandley 03:20, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Grey's Anatomy
I was changing the image locations as per the MOS:IMAGELOCATION guideline. TBrandley 03:22, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- What is that guideline telling you to change? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:23, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Honestly, I think its a stupid guideline. But, its states that "Avoid placing images on the left at the start of any section or subsection, because it makes it harder for readers to find the beginning of the text. Images on the left are best placed somewhere after the first paragraph." TBrandley 03:23, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- I do not think this is necessary per other FAs. It is a guideline, not a policy, so occasional exceptions do exist. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:24, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Weekly Newsletter: August 13, 2012
Hello members of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy! We are sending out our weekly newsletter with updates about the project and tasks. We have several new achievements and updates to be announced! List of Grey's Anatomy episodes, developed by TRLIJC19 and Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, is still a featured list candidate! If promoted, it will be our first piece of "in-house" featured content! If uninvolved with the list, we urge you to leave comments, review the article, and support or oppose it here. Grey's Anatomy, Grey's Anatomy (season 3), and "Give Peace a Chance" are also still in the preparations for FAC, while List of Grey's Anatomy cast members is being developed by TRLIJC19. "Losing My Religion" is now a GAN; it was developed by Sofffie7 and copyedited by TRLIJC19. There is currently a discussion awaiting feedback here; please provide your input there. There are many things to be done for the project, in an attempt to exemplify its best work. Below is a list of tasks, and guidelines:

Weekly Initiative!
The weekly initiative this week is to create a non-existent/redirect Grey's Anatomy episode article, using the relevant guidelines above! Model your article off of a Grey's Anatomy episode article with GA status. Use your Wikipedia skills to research information, copyedit, remove unreferenced claims, and add pictures! Barnstars will be awarded to any user who creates a well-sourced article, that has a quality of at least 'start'! To determine the quality, ask a member of the administrative board to review your article; please do not change the article's quality yourself. Take part in this initiative, have fun creating an article, feel proud after the article you created is existent, and be rewarded with barnstars! Help make a difference and get started! Furthermore, if you notice that any user has participated in any weekly initiative and was not rewarded, give them a barnstar ASAP!

Suggestion (2)
I have been observing WikiProject Lost a lot lately, and I believe the articles within the project are exceptional. I took a particular interest in the article Martin Keamy, a Featured Article, and it occurred to me that Erica Hahn can definitely be a FA Candidate. We should request a peer review. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 10:21, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- Erica Hahn is definitely pretty comprehensive, to the point of being a potential FAC. I would be willing to collaborate on the article with you, but I'd like to finish everything on my to-do list first. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 15:27, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- Absolutely! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 20:59, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Grey's Anatomy reception
Hey, is it normal that there is no source for the sentence by Alan Sepinwall which says "In contrast to the negative feedback the third and fourth seasons received, Alan Sepinwall of The Star-Ledger said: "Overall, it feels more like the good old days than Grey's Anatomy has in a long time."" ? Also, which season was he reviewing? It would logically be the fourth but it's not explicitly written. The same goes for Brian Lowry's review; I guess he's speaking about the sixth season but again, it's not written. Did you do this on purpose? --Sofffie7 (talk) 20:09, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'll take a look. I added those reviews early last September, and I wasn't familiarized with all of the policies/writing styles then, so there's likely a problem. Thanks for pointing it out. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 20:12, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, I see you cited Metacritic for both Sepinwall and Davenport after Davenport's review... ;) What we could do is adding a review for the sixth season because there are none at the moment. --Sofffie7 (talk) 22:17, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'll look for some S6 reviews. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:07, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

Had planned to abstain from voting in episode lists after the whole List of Friends episodes episode, but given no consensus regarding tables has been reached since then and this list more or less meeting the criteria, happy to support. Lemonade51 (talk) 23:46, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

Very sorry for the delay
Hi TRLIJC19 - sorry for the delay in continuing with the Grey's Anatomy copy-edit. I've had some problems with internet access since Thursday; last night I lost work three times before finally giving up. However, tonight looks as though we're done with thunderstorms for at least another 12 hours, the internet is working, and the power hasn't flickered at all in the past hour, so I'm going to try again. I'm going to try to finish up by Saturday night because I'm scheduled to be away on Sunday. I see you've been busy too. Risker (talk) 02:02, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Assessment of articles
Hey Joey! I changed Sadie's importance from 'top' to 'high' because I believe top should only apply for the main characters, every season's article, and the lists. I also wanted to change some episodes that are already GA to 'high' instead of 'top' except the pilot (which is not a GA yet), the musical episode, and premieres and finales of seasons. What do you think? In comparison, the top-importance Glee articles include the show's main page of course, their list of episodes and their list of characters. In 'high' they have the seasons and the main characters, and in 'mid' the episodes and actors. --Sofffie7 (talk) 18:58, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delayed response; I was not home. I agree with you, however I feel main characters are of top importance. Furthermore, I see you already made the changes. In the future, if you solicit my thoughts, it would be courteous to wait for a response before proceeding ;) TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 22:40, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- Further, sorry if that sounded mean; stressful day. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:07, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah I'm sorry too =/ I made the changes and then I thought of explaining them to you... I actually rated non-GA episodes–I preferred to wait for your opinion regarding the importance of those that are GA– and some characters as you may have seen on your watchlist. I also agree the main characters should remain as 'top'; it's just that I wanted to show you how other shows sort out their articles. --Sofffie7 (talk) 23:36, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi again
Hi TRLIJC19! I just wanted to let you know that I apologized to everyone on AussieLegend's talk page, but apparently they don't want to accept it and think I don't mean it. That hurt me when I saw that, but they have every right to be upset. I just posted a second comment there to reassure them that I really am sincere and that I feel terrible about how I acted. But anyway, I just wanted to tell you that what prompted me to apologize to you last night was after I read this comment you posted. When I first saw it, I barely read it and just posted a rude comment back to you. But then a few minutes later, I really read it closely and it moved me. It was beautiful. It really got to me how you were so humbly apologizing about your past errors on Wikipedia and how proud you were of all your accomplishments since then. Then I read your user page and it gave me the full picture of what a great guy you are. It was at that moment that I said I have to tell him how sorry I am. So I started writing my apology comment and when I clicked to post it, it didn't go through because apparently you were posting your ANI message right before I tried to post mine. I saw your new message about the ANI report, but it didn't matter because I still really wanted to post my apology. So I figured out how to resubmit it and finally got it to go through a few minutes later. Anyway, thanks for accepting my apology so graciously. Hopefully, the other editors will find it in their heart to do the same. By the way, I think you would make a great administrator. Again, sorry for everything. Bye. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 23:03, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the kind words, again. I am not really interested in being an admin, but thanks for the thought (admins have to do too much behind-the-scenes work, while I prefer writing articles). I hope you decide to make an account, and continue your editing. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:51, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

While I appreciate the suggestions you made on my talk page for the season 3 episode articles, I can't help but feel offended. Of course, your judgement is correct, but when I nominated the episode articles for GA, you gave them copyedits, expansive ones, which meant that you had been familiarized with the articles. Some suggestion would have been appreciated at the time, during the GA Nomination. However, I will get the three season 3 episode GAs to perfect shape before creating or expanding others. Have a good evening. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 23:24, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm really sorry about the tone in which I sent my message. I have been babysitting my 6-month old nephew this week, while my sister is away. Combine the constant screaming with other personal issues, and unfortunately I get a bit mean. To clear things I up, I was not aware of the WP:TVRECEPTION guideline in June, when I did the cleanups of your episode articles. Also, I wouldn't consider the cleanups I did "
extensiveexpansive". Anyways, I will gladly help you with the cleanup of the few episodes, if you would like. Again, I am sorry I have had a mean tone these past few days. I really enjoy collaborating with you, and consider you a friend on Wikipedia, so I hope this encounter does not affect your view of me. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 00:42, 18 August 2012 (UTC)- Everything is understandable. I enjoy our collaborations, too. Thank you for the nice words! Currently, I am working on Losing My Religion (Grey's Anatomy), then I'll get to the season 3 episode articles. I would be truly appreciative if you could reference the music in Time Has Come Today (Grey's Anatomy), I Am a Tree, and Wishin' and Hopin' (Grey's Anatomy), and add the soundtrack in the Production section of Great Expectations (Grey's Anatomy). Personally, I do not agree with WP:TVRECEPTION: Where I wrote more than 3 sentences per critic, it's because they covered more aspects. For example, IGN reviews cover each storyline. There are a lot of storylines, and they have different opinions on each (they could be favorable with a storyline, critical of another, favorable for a cast member's acting, critical of another). - Unfortunately, we have to follow the guideline. The reasoning behind the guideline, is that it is better to have 2-3 sentences per critic, and have 10 critics, than to have a paragraph per critic, and have three critics. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 16:42, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

- Everything is understandable. I hope you will understand, and support my ideas. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 14:22, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
Hello, it's me
I have just checked in from an online source, and am here to say, thanks for getting into that IP discussion on my talk page. It is appreciated. Just saw it. I have just noticed 3 supports for my Say Hello to My Little Friend. Thank you, and, for your great work here on Wikipedia, you should treat yourself, to go to a restaurant tonight, like, I don't know, Pizza Hut. Anyway, cheers. TBrandley 04:00, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- Great to hear from you! You missed a whole chaos session last night with that IP, but I think he/she learned their lesson. In other news, "Give Peace a Chance" is being copyedited, and I got permission from The Rambling Man to add another nomination at FLC (cast list). Enjoy the rest of your vacation! Re File:DSC 9467 crop.JPG: please take the silly undergrad games somewhere else. And learn how to spell William M. Connolley (talk) 08:24, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- Please calm down. Per WP:IFN, images with meaningless names (such as DSCXX.jpg), should be changed to an image relevant to the picture. That said, the image summary says "Caius" and it is a picture of a canoe, right? I thought that would be an appropriate title. Also, you are not allowed to remove someone else's rename request. However, since it is your picture, what would you like the title to be changed to? The message you sent me was inappropriate and rude. You need to start assuming good faith. By the way, I have a BA in psychiatry, so I don't know where you're getting "undergrad" from. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 16:40, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- If you can't tell an eight from a canoe and if you can't spell "Caius", find a different picture to comment on William M. Connolley (talk) 18:55, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- The tone in which you are writing to me is highly inappropriate. You are not allowed to remove rename requests, and if there was an existent issue with the new desired title, you should have changed it. The fact that I used the wrong word and a typo does not mean you have to label my edits as vandalism; they clearly were not. Please do not tell me to find a different picture to comment on, that constitutes WP:OWN. I will again add the rename request, so what would you like the title to be? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 19:01, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- By the way there is a clear difference between a policy to name files in a particular way and a procedure to try to rename files which are uploaded. The existence of the policy does not imply community support for the procedure of renaming. WMC should be sweeter of course but "canoe" is so wrong as to look like a deliberate wind up. --BozMo talk 20:01, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

Notice
Hi again Joey! I couldn't start resolving the problems BlueMoonset has found because I had to finish up the preparations for my mom's brithday and now I'm going to bed. Also, since the birthday is tomorrow, I won't be editing as much as I'd like to. I'm afraid our GAN doesn't pass because BlueMoonset keeps on raising issues. If I had known our article had still so much to be done, I wouldn't have nominated it and would have asked for a peer review instead =/ Anyways, I wish you a good evening and a good night :) Sofffie7 (talk) 22:22, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm free tomorrow and will address the issues. Enjoy your mom's birthday! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 00:25, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

ER link in Grey's Anatomy article?
Hi, I see you reverted the link I added to the ER TV show in the Grey's Anatomy article. I am still unable to find a link to ER in the article. For example, if I click "Edit" and do a search for "ER (TV series)" (no quotes), nothing is coming up. Just want to make sure that there really is a link there already. thank you 66.66.149.221 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 00:44, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Episode stubs
When you assign {{stub}}, the article appears in Category:Stubs and gets looked at by stub-sorters ... who then find you've found the right stub category, but done it the wrong way. Please use {{tv-episode-stub}} - that generates the right message at the bottom of the screen and puts the article into Category:Television episode stubs. Stub categories should never be assigned directly, but only through the stub templates. Thanks, and Happy Editing. PamD 09:33, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- And please remember that all stub tags, either plain or subject-specific, should go after categories, not before them - see WP:ORDER. It makes life easier for other editors if things are in predictable places. Thanks. PamD 09:40, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Hey
Awake TV series article just got fail, so I've asked if I could re-nominate it, because of what you said before. Also, the FA director gave Say Hello to My Little Friend some spot-checks, so I sure that one will pass. Just wanted to let you know :) TBrandley 14:47, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Display titles
A reminder that DISPLAYTITLE
is a magic word, not a template, and uses a colon, not a pipe symbol. For example: {{DISPLAYTITLE:Slow Night, So Long (''Grey's Anatomy'')}}
, not {{DISPLAYTITLE|Slow Night, So Long (''Grey's Anatomy'')}}
— Paul A (talk) 01:44, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. But just wondering; when I do use it with a pipe, it still works. Why is that? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 01:48, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Because so many people make the mistake, there is also a {{DISPLAYTITLE}} template. What the template does is flag the page for somebody to come fix it, and meanwhile adds the magic word to the page until it can be done properly. — Paul A (talk) 06:22, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Losing My Religion (2)
Hi Joey! I adressed several plot problems but I don't know what to do of the Doc sentence. It is a long sentence, but it's important to know that it's a dog shared by Grey and Shepherd and that his vet is Grey's boyfriend. What could be done is replace the name "Doc", with "dog" only and change the possessive article to "its" instead of "his" to avoid confusion. Also, I added today that Webber was relfecting on his past in the gallery before Bailey arrived to tell him about Denny. BlueMoonset asked 2 days ago if it's necessary to have that sentence but I don't see the problem of keeping it. As for the reception, I don't know how to address her concerns. I added stuff, then Jonathan basically rewrote/rephrased almost everything, and then you tried to condense, but it's still problematic to her... And so is the lead. Do you think TBrandley will give his opinion later, or should we ask him to do so? --Sofffie7 (talk) 19:31, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'll take a look in regard to the Doc line. I think it would be a good idea to post something on TBrandley's talk. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 19:35, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ok fine :) By the way, do you know why 'opened to... reviews' is inappropriate? I've just changed it with 'received', but to me there was no problem :P Oh and yesterday I added some reasons explaining how the episode was reviewed but I'm not sure it's well written and if it's enough, so that'd be great if you could check that too. --Sofffie7 (talk) 20:21, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think there's any problem with it; I've seen it used in several FAs. I think that is an unnecessary comment. By the way, List of Grey's Anatomy episodes was just promoted! :-) TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 20:25, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- The phrase "opened to good/bad/indifferent reviews" is fine for movies, which have an opening day and the like. For a television show, it doesn't make sense: there is no opening day or weekend, and there's usually just a single showing with any rerun months in the future. There is no television equivalent that I know of. Just use "received" as you've now done; it's standard and everyone knows what it means.

- On the review page, I've answered why I thought the Webber/Bailey sentence wasn't necessary. Your new text now places it in context, but I think it could be safely cut without changing the reader's understanding of the episode at all, especially as neither is mentioned again.
- Incidentally—and no harm done—I'm a he. Just so you know. :-) BlueMoonset (talk) 01:27, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- I see your point about why "opened" isn't appropriate for television. About the Webber/Bailey thing, I have a slight recollection of being told by someone, or reading somewhere, that if a character/actor is in the episode, they should be mentioned (if only briefly), so that it is clear they were not absent from the episode. However, I'm not too clung to this idea, so let me know what you think. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 01:40, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Question
Hi, just a random question, did/do you watch Awake? TBrandley 04:31, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- I saw the pilot episode when it originally aired, and enjoyed it. Then, throughout the other episodes, I felt like they stopped focusing on the two realities, and it was more of just some crime drama. I stopped watching after the third or fourth episode. When I got involved in the Awake articles, and saw all the reviews that "Say Hello to My Little Friend" was good, I watched it online, and really enjoyed that episode. I will probably watch the rest of them when I get the time. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 04:37, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, some episodes, like "Oregon", are all about the crime (mmh...) While other episodes like "Say Hello to My Little Friend", and the following two episodes, also related to the accident, which are "Two Birds" and "Turtles All the Way Down", are great! Sixth episode "That's Not My Penguin" and third episode "Guilty" is is alright, but "Nightswimming" absolutely horrible, that's the last one you want to watch, err... Sometimes the crime is okay in some episodes. TBrandley 04:52, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Lol, if "Nightswimming" is horrible, why'd you pick that to take to FAC instead of per say "Pilot"? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 04:53, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Great point. Wow, stupid choice. I guess I just easyer than others, due to higher production, which I found. By the way, I'm glad to see you looking at the Awake articles, considering their low traffic stats on Wikipedia, and on real TV! Actually, I liked "Pilot" when it first came on, but, now, since I now know the series' conception, etc. I find that episode boring, now. Most others are good. TBrandley 04:57, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) It makes sense. "Give Peace a Chance" is just some random episode of GA, and I was only creating it for the S6 good topic. However, I realized how much better the article was than the others I'd created, so I took it to FAC. I guess we don't really base which articles we are going to develop to FA on whether or not the episode is a favorite, but simply that there is enough info to build a FA. Looking at feedback for some GA ep articles, I noticed something. A "well put-together (by WP standards) article such as "Give Peace a Chance" would receive bad reviews, but a horrible article like "Disarm (Grey's Anatomy)" would receive positive reviews. I think it's because most people don't realize WP is in fact an encyclopedia. If the episode article has an overly detailed plot recap and a whole section listing the music (so they don't have to read prose), the reader is happy. It's pretty unfortunate. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:03, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah. I choose one which could be medium size of information, not to big, not to small. TATWD would be too hard. But, most, don't have enough production information, and, the ones that do, are mostly from interviews. My next goals is "Two Birds", "That's Not My Penguin". Those will be hard, though, so. Oh, and, just now, I noticed that "Nightswimming" is bigger that "Say Hello to My Little Friend" FA, only just. Huh. TBrandley 05:08, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- In other news, it just stumbled upon me that I have had a very successful month. Almost everything is done on my August to-do list, and I hope I can get the remaining few issues finished by the month's end. In addition, I have been very collaborative this month, as shown with my 76 talk page posts (Lol, I'm hoping to reach 100 by the end of the month). Finally, I have received filemover rights, will hopefully receive AP rights, and have had about 1600 edits this month (hoping to reach 2000 by the end of month). In addition, the WP:Greys aboard is running smoothly, we have a few new members, and I am going to receive the triple crown. I'm just so happy about how great this month has been! - Cool; too bad I can't get a "four award" for SHTMLF, since there's no DYK, and I don't think it can be created. Good work. Cheers, TBrandley 05:17, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- "Slack Water" would be possible! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:18, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

- Speaking of production information, I found this information here. Its pretty neat, and cool, and is good production for "The Little Guy", plus, I know its true. Despite this, I don't this it is "high-quality" enough for Wikipedia. Thoughts/opinions. Cheers, TBrandley 05:29, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- It looks a little sketchy to me. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:34, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's what I thought. Looks like a fan site, although, by comparing it with the episode, seems true, but doesn't seem high-quality WP:RS. TBrandley 05:37, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

- Lol, if "Nightswimming" is horrible, why'd you pick that to take to FAC instead of per say "Pilot"? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 04:53, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
It's been nice chatting; I'm off to bed! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:40, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Idea !
Hello! I've got this brilliant idea! You know how the "Reception" section in episode articles is the most difficult to develop, and takes the longest? I have decided to wait until you stub all season 3 episode-articles, and then develop them entirely, with the exception of the Reception section, in which I will only write ratings-related info. After I've done this with all season 3 episodes, I will go back through all of them, expand the Reception section, and nominate for GA. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 17:44, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hey! Actually, I think 'reception is easy; it's the plot that takes me long. But I understand how you could find it difficult. I will hopefully be able to stub S3 by the month's end. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 19:33, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

See User:Jonathan Harold Koszeghi/sandbox
If you look at the Writing and Filming subsection in my sandbox, you will see that I have carefully used only last names (for characters, cast members, crew members etc.) However, I think it is not entirely accurate. Out of nowhere, I have a last name of a writer, who hasn't been mentioned since the Crew subsection. Please read "Writing and Filming" if you don't understand what I'm saying. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 11:40, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
- That's the MOS. Sometimes it's odd, but the guideline must be followed. Odds are, the reader will remember, and if not, they'll scroll up to see the first name. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 14:44, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. What do you think about the Writing and Filming section ? It's not entirely ready, yet, but an overall opinion would be appreciated. ;) Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 19:36, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm very impressed! Only thing is I think the whole thing about Washington getting fired belongs in 'cast', not that section. Also, split the long paragraphs. I'm getting ready to nominate List of Grey's Anatomy cast members to FL. How does it look? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 19:41, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Weekly Newsletter: August 27, 2012
Hello members of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy! We are sending out our weekly newsletter with updates about the project and tasks. Big apologies for the lack of the newsletter last week! What a busy two weeks it's been! We have several new achievements and updates to be announced! List of Grey's Anatomy episodes, developed by TRLIJC19 and Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, is now a featured list! "Give Peace a Chance", written by TRLIJC19, was promoted to a featured article last night, after spending only 7 days in candidacy! "Losing My Religion" was listed as a good article last week, developed by Sofffie7, TRLIJC19, and Jonathan Harold Koszeghi. List of Grey's Anatomy cast members, developed by TRLIJC19, recently entered the process of featured list candidacy—we urge you to review the list here. Grey's Anatomy, developed by TRLIJC19, and Grey's Anatomy (season 3), developed by Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, are still in the preparations for featured article candidacy. There are many things to be done for the project, in an attempt to exemplify its best work. Below is a list of tasks, and guidelines:
Tasks and Gudelines |
---|
Please try to follow these tasks to the best of your abilities. As with any guideline, there may be exceptions, so use common sense when applying them.
|
Weekly Initiative!
The weekly initiative this week is to search the internet, and find season 6 reviews to add to Grey's Anatomy. Search through google archives, and news websites, to find reviews that talk about season 6 in entirety. Please make sure the reviews you find come from a highly reliable source such as a major news site, or a well-known magazine. If you find some reviews, please post them on the talk page of Grey's Anatomy, where they will be evaluated for quality. If you find a suitable review, that fits the criteria we are looking for, you will be awarded a barnstar! Take part in this initiative, have fun searching for reviews, feel proud after the review you find is added to the main article, and be rewarded with barnstars! Help make a difference and get started! Furthermore, if you notice that any user has participated in any weekly initiative and was not rewarded, give them a barnstar ASAP!
Have fun, and don't forget to only look at renowned sites! We hope to see several season 6 reviews posted on the talk page soon!

I've added some more things to George's article, and was wondering if you were still gonna add anything. I'm eager to see what it is! :) I'm hoping to eventually get it to GA, like Meredith, Callie, Arizona, Erica and Owen's articles. Creativity97 (TALK) 00:46, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

Single quotes
Found the guideline that says that footnotes should also use "single quotes" rather than "double quotes". WP:MOSQUOTE says "When quoting a quotation that itself contains a quotation, single quotes may be replaced with double quotes, and vice versa". MOS:QUOTEMARKS says quotation marks within quotation marks should be single quotes, which is what occurs in titles enclosed by quotation marks in footnotes. Does that clarify things? Regards. TBrandley 16:16, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking the time to find that information. :-) I won't be online until later tonight; enjoy your day. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 16:29, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi. I just found out that NBC, Awake's broadcaster who has the official website, used as a source in some Awake articles (including "Nightswimming" and "Say Hello to My Little Friend", key articles), are deleting/removing the official Awake website on this September 16. I kinda need them, for, sources. Do you think I could archive it somehow, or something. Help would be appreciated. A billion thanks! TBrandley 23:26, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Not good. A lot of websites are archived here. Type in the specific URL, and see if an archive exists for it. If it does, add
|archiveurl=http://example.com |archivedate=August 30, 2012
to the {{cite web}} templates. Be quick! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:29, 30 August 2012 (UTC)- Oooh. Found this. Just fill in the URL and your email address, and you can archive the pages yourself. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:35, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Delays
Sorry for the delays. I had originally been waiting for you to check out the rest of the refs on the casting section, and then I got tied up in some Arbitration Committee things. My weekend, however, is free and clear and I intend to finish this copy edit then. Risker (talk) 04:05, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've been busy lately too, which is why I was delayed in improving the refs you listed on the talk page. Luckily, I have been able to spend more time online these past few days, and replaced the refs. The hardest one to do was the Oprah one (there are like thousands of episodes to that show, and finding the one was difficult). List of FNL awards and noms
Hi Joey! Thanks for closing the merger proposal discussion :) Looking back at my answer to Jmajeremy just made me laugh. It only dates back from last year, but at the time I did not know much about Wikipedia so I just replied expressing my feelings without good arguments (I wrote in capital letters, wich I know now is inappropriate and used WP:OTHERSTUFF) lol. I was so mad at Jmajeremy because I had spent hours to find sources etc. Anyway, I'm so glad the discussion is closed even if my arguments were not solid ;) --Sofffie7 (talk) 10:41, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
