Standard wikipedia style is Pyxis (constellation) (small-c, not Constellation). Also, if one meaning is considerably more used than the others, it would get to be Pyxis and the others would be linked at Pyxis (disambiguation). We don't currently even have a separate article for the Greek pottery, but we do have lots of incoming links to Pyxis for the constellation. I would argue that the constellation is the most prominent usage, and have moved it back for now. On the Pottery of Ancient Greece page, there is a list of types of ancient Greek pottery. Pyxis is one of the types listed, but the link takes you to the constellation page, hence the reason I thought there should be a way to differentiate between the two meanings of pyxis.

Yes, but this can be disambiguated by linking to Pyxis (pottery) as you did. There are two cases: where one meaning greatly overshadows all others it gets the unadorned "X" title and the others are "X (foo)", "X (bar)", etc. and are linked to at "X (disambiguation)". Where multiple meanings have comparable prominence, then the page at "X" becomes the disambiguation page. See for instance London, London (disambiguation) vs. Mercury. Each one has to be decided on a case-by-case basis, and sometimes Wikipedia:Requested moves is used to gather feedback or try to reach a consensus on a particular case. -- Curps 21:33, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
