Date of Birth for Mark Evanier and Sergio Aragonés
[edit]Hi! Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for contributing. A reminder: please write an edit summary in the box below the edit box. It will help other people determine your intent. Also, I've reverted your edits in which you deleted the month and day of month from the dates of birth from the articles for Mark Evanier and Sergio Aragonés. You didn't indicate why you deleted the information. The information appears to be supported by at least one source (I've added citations to IMDb in both articles). Given the existance of a citation and general relevance of the information, it seems best to include the information. — Alan De Smet | Talk 03:20, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- (Context: The One Watcher replied at Talk:Sergio Aragonés and Talk:Mark Evanier, pointing out the official policy Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Privacy_of_birthdays.) My apologies, thanks for pointing it out. — Alan De Smet | Talk 01:53, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
I apologize for not mentioning my reasoning the first time. I'm still a novice editor to Wikipedia. — The One Watcher
- Quite alright, we all make mistakes (as I did when I reverted your changes). A tip: four tildes ("~~~~") will sign your comments on talk pages; this is the generally accepted way to sign your posts and helpfully includes your name and the current time and date. Also, you typically intent replies to previous comments with one more leading colon (":") than the post you're replying to. This indents things and helps keep big conversations clear. Again, welcome to Wikipedia, I hope you stay. — Alan De Smet | Talk 00:14, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
