[edit]Why are you adding "Portrait painted by British" as the caption to the image in the article Sikh gangs? The painter is Manu Kaur Saluja (who, I believe, is an American of Indian origin), not the British colonists. utcursch | talk 04:46, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
Wikipedia Policies
[edit]You can neither remove references or publish original research on Wikipedia. That's the policy. And you previous edits have been in continued violation of these policies. If it goes on, I'm afraid your account will be closed forever and you will not be able to make more edits.
EDIT: And yes, work a little on your English before contributing to the English Wikipedia. Your sentences like The article have personal research of a person and According to Encyclopedia of Sikhism edited by Harbans Singh ji and Reasearch by Dr. Gurbaksh Singh ji, on Mata Jito and Mata Sundri, they were two separate persons and only one was married to Guru Gobind Singh. say a lot about your linguistic abilities. If you are that enthusiastic, first improve your language skills. In the meantime, why don't contribute to Punjabi Wikipedia or what ever language you're proficient at.

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Sikhism, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Sunray (talk) 17:01, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- To elaborate on this, your recent addition to the article on Sikhism said (in part): "The Battle of Saragarhi is considered one of the greatest battles in British military history." You reference an article in the Sunday Tribune. However, the article in the Sunday Tribune does not say this. This addition is contrary to WP policy on original research. I've reverted your recent edits but will review them further to see what can be added to the article. Sunray (talk) 17:17, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- I've looked at the article in more depth and have eliminated most of the material on Sikhs in the British Army. My reasons for doing this are given here. Sunray (talk) 20:31, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
