Hello Varmapak, you are adding template:Bharatiya Janata Party at every BJP politician and also removing stubs Template:BJP-politician-stub related to BJP politicians. Please add the template at appropriate pages only, create new templates where ever necessary, and do not remove stubs which are really stub-articles. You are also requested to see the corresponding help pages Help:Template and Help:Stub before editing. Thanks.

Hi there. I've deleted this image as the terms of use on the linked website do not support the license you chose. this image is copyrighted, and not freely licensed - Peripitus (Talk) 11:06, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the same goes for the other images you uploaded. - Peripitus (Talk) 11:09, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In http://pib.nic.in/newsite/terms.aspx, 2. COPYRIGHT POLICY says "Material featured on this website may be reproduced free of charge and there is no need for any prior approval for using the content". Many Images from this site are widely used in wiki. All my efforts will be invain if you delete my images. review once again.

The licence you used means that someone can take the image and
  • modify it as they see fit
  • reuse it for any purpose
  • sell the image.

The website does not include these terms. They are allowing you to use the image but are NOT allowing modification, derivative works, commercial use and so do not meet the conditions needed for a free licence - Peripitus (Talk) 11:26, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There was a discussion on the commons website here about this two years ago where it was concluded that the images are not freely licensed - Peripitus (Talk) 11:51, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately not. I've left a message on the copyright page at Commons pointing out the issue with this, and many other images from the same site. Some uploaders over there appear to have misunderstood the website's copyright message in the same way you have. Unfortunately copyright is ridiculously complicated and often not obvious - Peripitus (Talk) 11:59, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Akkana and Madanna cave temple, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://knowindiatourism.blogspot.com/2011/04/akkana-and-madanna-caves-vijaywada.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Mamta Kulkarni. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 17:34, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Mamta Kulkarni shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. License tagging for File:The Red Sari.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:The Red Sari.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Vijayawada as present state capital

[edit]

Hey there. I see that had put it at {{State and Union Territory capitals of India}} way back in 2014. But isn't Hyderabad still the common capital for atleast ten years (Hyderabad#Common capital of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh)? Someone made this edit on List of state and union territory capitals in India so I'm confused. At Vijayawada, the given reference for it, "this report"., says it's officially planned to be the capital; it doesn't support the text. Am I right? -Ugog Nizdast (talk) 18:01, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Ugog Nizdast: correct, it has two capitals, 1) common capital as Hyderabad outside of its state, and 2) its own new capital Vijaywada. [1] varma (talk) 20:26, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't have to dig through much, I got my answer at Andhra Pradesh Capital City. So what is actually meant is the new capital will be the area near Vijaywada. Hyderabad remains the official capital for ten years, then probably the newly developed city will take its place. The two capital thing seems wrong and couldn't find any results in the search engine. So there is a mistake in the template as well as Vijayawada, both are not updated like the rest of the pages. I'll fix it. Good day, Ugog Nizdast (talk) 23:34, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Auto Johnny

[edit]

The article Auto Johnny has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Any chance you can find an alternate source for your recent additions at Somnath Bharti. No-one is denying that the allegations are out there but this is one of those awkward WP:BLP situations and I've asked for comments at the BLP noticboard. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Care Hospitals requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Raju. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Sitush (talk) 16:24, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

After the above mentioned earthquakes, I have ceased to believe that earthquakes can be natural.

If a study is made of these three earthquakes by an expert, it can be brought out in the open as to the man made disasters as on date.

Also the(7.7 Mw) magnitude reminded me of :- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Medd - "Henry Alexander Nesbitt Medd (September 21, 1892 - October 26, 1977), was a British-born architect, whose career was made in India. He is most known for being in the team of architects, team led by Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, which designed the new capital of India, New Delhi (1911–1931).Post inauguration of New Delhi, when most of architects left, he stayed on, designed many more buildings and eventually remained, Chief Architect to the Government of India (1939–47)."

I was busy making the Indian Spices-"GARAM MASALA", for the year in my kitchen along with "Ghee". today being Monday, whence I fast, when the earthquake struck, in Delhi! Mamta Jagdish Dhody (talk) 16:15, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

About Rajus Article

I am interested to develop this article, but due to Sitush & also due to his culprit admins who are his partners in vandalising made this article not to get developed. Due to my constant efforts to improve, i somehow managed to put the reference of Minna Savala reference which is very much reliable. Now iam a topic banned user i.e you can identify me because i added very much valuable information in 2014 that you can see in article history but now nothing is there due to sitush & his friend Joshua Jonathan. I have seen your conversation in "Rajus" talk page and you can also see my conversation in "telugu castes" talk page at the bottom and also "sitush" talk page at the bottom. As you are an experienced user, I request you to please develop the Rajus article and please reveal the truthful information in the page as the page & the "rajus" caste is trying to be defamed by the sitush since 2011.Many valuable references & very much valuable information of Andhra Kshatriyas(Rajus) & their ancestry & gotras are removed.I too belong to the Kshatriya(Raju) Community of Andhra Pradesh.""Rajus" is a forward caste", even that statement is also removed from that page.If possible please take the issue to the wikipedia management.I hope you can develop the page.

Control copyright icon Hello Varmapak, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Ravva oil field has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 00:30, 1 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about ChuChu TV

Hello, Varmapak,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether ChuChu TV should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ChuChu TV .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

The article Nesto Hypermarket has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indications of notability, references fail the criteria for establishing notability (WP:CORPDEPTH and/or WP:ORGIND).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- HighKing++ 17:49, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your comment at the portals RfC

[edit]

It looks like the tildes (~~~~) you used to sign the comment you just left at the RfC about portals are actually "small tilde" diacritic characters and not true tildes. As a result, the wiki software did not recognize them as a signature. I've marked that comment as "unsigned", but it would be better if you could replace that notice with a correct signature. - dcljr (talk) 19:47, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to the Portals WikiProject...

[edit]

You are invited to join the effort to revitalize and improve the Portal system.

The Portals WikiProject was rebooted on April 17th, and is going strong. Sixty-six editors have joined so far, with more joining daily. We're having a blast, and excitement is high...

Our goal is to update, upgrade, and maintain portals.

In addition to working directly on portals, we are developing tools to make portals more dynamic (self-updating), and to make building and maintaining portals easier. We've finished two tools so far, with more to come. They are Template:Transclude lead excerpt and Template:Transclude random excerpt.

Discussions are underway about how to further upgrade portals, and what the portals of the future will be.

There are plenty of tasks (including WikiGnome tasks too).

With more to come.

We may even surprise ourselves and exceed all expectations. Who knows what we will be able to accomplish in what may become the biggest Wikicollaboration in years.

See ya at the WikiProject!

Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   06:51, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lion Capital, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian independence (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 23:11, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much

[edit]

The RfC discussion to eliminate portals was closed May 12, with the statement "There exists a strong consensus against deleting or even deprecating portals at this time." This was made possible because you and others came to the rescue. Thank you for speaking up.

By the way, the current issue of the Signpost features an article with interviews about the RfC and the Portals WikiProject.

I'd also like to let you know that the Portals WikiProject is working hard to make sure your support of portals was not in vain. Toward that end, we have been working diligently to innovate portals, while building, updating, upgrading, and maintaining them. The project has grown to 80 members so far, and has become a beehive of activity.

Our two main goals at this time are to automate portals (in terms of refreshing, rotating, and selecting content), and to develop a one-page model in order to make obsolete and eliminate most of the 150,000 subpages from the portal namespace by migrating their functions to the portal base pages, using technologies such as selective transclusion. Please feel free to join in on any of the many threads of development at the WikiProject's talk page, or just stop by to see how we are doing. If you have any questions about portals or portal development, that is the best place to ask them.

If you would like to keep abreast of developments on portals, keep in mind that the project's members receive updates on their talk pages. The updates are also posted here, for your convenience.

Again, we can't thank you enough for your support of portals, and we hope to make you proud of your decision. Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   23:28, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

P.S.: if you reply to this message, please {{ping}} me. Thank you. -TT

Weldolet moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Weldolet, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 19:36, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

@Kinu the disruption and vandalism was by User:Call me when you get the chance but you block me based on his ARV request? Did you check the history why did he repeatedly undo my constructive edits?? with his poor interpretation that my edits doesn't fall under 'his' timezone requirement to place, though they are correct. Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You were the one repeatedly adding information about events from April 11 to the April 10 portal. Either (a) explain why the content belongs at April 10 or (b) add it to April 11. You did neither per WP:BRD, instead choosing to edit war. Regardless, This is an incorrect use of the {{current events}} template, and edit warring to repeatedly do it is disruptive. --Kinu t/c 23:54, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Kinu No, That's how I created new page April 11 and updated the relevant content to April 11th. You can verify it by just preview that edit. The other user started edit war by undoing it saying that his time zone is not yet clocked 00 Hrs to created page of April 11 while it was absolutely April 11th for me. -Varmapak (talk) 00:12, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Based on the edit history of April 11, you did no such thing. Instead, you literally did the same thing seven times to the April 10 page. --Kinu t/c 00:36, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Indri Whisky, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
