Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Burj Khalifa, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:45, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am concerned with your GA-related activity: in the time since you totally botched this GA review with a quick fail on the 23rd, you've passed another with absolutely no commentary of substance, started another review, and yourself made a totally baffling nomination of Buddhism, which itself makes me feel you are inadequately familiar to be reviewing nominations at such a pace. I am totally unconvinced you are putting in the effort to actually ensure articles meet the criteria, and it doesn't serve either the nominator or readers. Please slow down. Remsense ‥  09:11, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Remsense,I made a mistake in first but not in my second review. I accept that Buddhism can't be a GA. if you don't trust me, you can review UNICEF club again. Being an introvert, I just can't entirely explain my point of view. Velthorion (Alarm!) 09:23, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is, I do not know whether you made a mistake in your second review, because you did not write anything of substance during it. You need to be much more deliberate in your reviews; what you are presently doing is totally unhelpful. Remsense ‥  09:24, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'll try to be as explaining as possible Velthorion (Alarm!) 09:26, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"If you don't trust me, re-review it yourself" is an answer you should never have to make, since we should be able to see the process for ourselves. Remsense ‥  09:27, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Velthorian, just to repeat what I said on Talk:Darren Moore/GA1 (should have pinged you, as maybe you didn't get the notification), perhaps you are misunderstanding how GAN reviews work? I suggest reading WP:GAN#I and asking for help. You are being unintentionally disruptive with your GAN "reviews", even though you are trying to help. I have notified the talk page for the GAN reviews too, to deal with the incorrectly reviewed GANs. Someone there would probably reach out to help you, I think.
