British Art Institute and Guardian page image
[edit]The article includes a page image claiming to be from the Guardian newspaper. However it appears to be a dummy - no date; and the article does not tally with any indexing on the Guardian website? AllyD (talk) 19:53, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
The article British Art Institute has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence found to verify that this meets the notability criteria for organisations. The article was created with citations of an image purporting to be a Guardian front-page (which was not verifiable to The Guardian itself and appears to be a campaign flyer) and to the organisation's own website (which appears to have been registered on the same day that this article was created). So no reliable sourcing.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
