[edit]Hello, I'm Ayub407. I noticed that you recently removed some content from The Three Stooges without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I undid you edit. Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from The Three Stooges to C3 Entertainment. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 20:32, 1 July 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at The Pink Panther (2006 film), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please do not change sourced text without a proper citation. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:16, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to The Pink Panther (2006 film). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 01:16, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
Disruptive editing, reliable sources
[edit]Please stop changing the information in the infobox in The Pink Panther (2006 film). It's sourced to the American Film Institute, which is a reliable source. You replaced this with a citation to the IMDb, which is user-generated content and not reliable. This follows previous disruptive edits you've made to the page. If you continue doing this, you're likely to be blocked for disruption. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 20:14, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
- XSMan2016, in response to your post on my talk page, you are in the wrong if you keep adding IMDb as a reference. Per longstanding widespread community consensus, IMDb is not considered a reliable source because it is user-generated. Exactly what NinjaRobotPirate explained above. Please stop edit-warring with this source and find another source that meets our reliable sourcing guidelines. We don't consider blogs or discussion forums or any user-generated site as sufficient. Content must be supported by reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy, like mainstream newspapers, magazines, books and things of that nature. Any more warring over this matter will be considered disruptive and will be followed by an interruption of your editing privileges. That, however, is completely preventable. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:07, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
- Also, why did you move the
|border=
parameter to the bottom of the infobox in this edit? It doesn't make any sense to ungroup the image formatting parameters. You wind up with multiple instances of the same parameter. This is not constructive. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:51, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
Hi there, you are invited to participate in the discussion Talk:The Pink Panther (2006 film)#Studio and distributor. Particularly I am concerned that you don't understand our guidelines on reliable sources based on this edit where you replaced IMDb with a site that is probably a mirror/scraper of IMDb's content. As a general rule, only sources that have established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy should be used. I strongly doubt that you could tell me or NinjaRobotPirate anything about the site you used. If not, you probably shouldn't be using it. On the off-chance that you can, you are encouraged to participate in the discussion linked above. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:34, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
Re: your edit summary here where you say, "From this moment on, we leave it like this. I have spoken." The place for you to speak is on talk pages. If you refuse to do so, then you frustrate the collaborative process. Since Wikipedia is a collaborative process, your lack of discussion is problematic. From my perspective I have seen you assert content using insufficient sources, stonewall change, refuse to participate in discussion, then issue an edict that the content is set in stone because you "have spoken". That's not going to fly here. If discussion is not something you are comfortable with, you'll either have to learn to yield or find a more satisfying solitary hobby. If you continue this sort of non-participation/ownership behavior again, you greatly run the risk of having your editing privileges interrupted. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:22, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:20, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
For this. Either discuss, or drop the stick. NinjaRobotPirate has been more than patient with you. Unilaterally restoring questioned content without providing solid sources or providing a clear explanation is not helpful. And no, I don't consider "I'm doing this now, because the the Columbia Pictures films have been distributed by Columbia Pictures." to be a clear explanation or a solid source. If this continues after your block expires, the blocks will get longer. You are in complete control of how you are treated here. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:24, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ratatouille (film). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You were told multiply that tertriary sources do not make wrongs right. As officially denoted in the film credits, it was "produced by Pixar" and "distributed by Buena Vista Pictures Distribution", and alternative facts such as that of a database source (which is unreliable atop) are not accepted. Furthermore, you continously break the WP:COMMONNAME guideline by changing "Pixar" to "Pixar Animation Studios"; there is a reason the article is named that way, and that reason is not to make editors pipe and full-state the name; and also break the WP:NOTBROKEN guideline by overpiping redirects unnecessarily. Since you rejected my, and other editors', statements, but rather threatend us, I must hand you this warning. Lordtobi (✉) 09:10, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
Hi. This is to let you know that your edit to The Lego Batman Movie, has been reverted. Any information on home media must be put up, after it has been released in such formats. By that time, there should be more information to expand that section, but not before it has been released on DVD and Blu-Ray, per the citations someone put forward.GUtt01 (talk) 21:37, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Hynden Walch, July 2018.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Hynden Walch, July 2018.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:ViacomCBS Domestic Media Networks.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:ViacomCBS Domestic Media Networks.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShadowCyclone talk 02:01, 14 January 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Adventures in Wonder Park
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Adventures in Wonder Park requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adventures in Wonder Park. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:20th Century Fox 2009-2013 logo.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:20th Century Fox 2009-2013 logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

The article Kitty Softpaws has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not appear to meet WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Throast {{ping}} me! Disambiguation link notification for May 4
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Shrek Forever After, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Craig Robinson. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 05:58, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

Better source request for File:The Patrick Star Game cover art.jpg
[edit]Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 07:46, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
