I've actually read and enjoyed Callin's two novels, but he doesn't pass WP:AUTHOR, with one review of his first book and a small body of work. Clarityfiend (talk) 05:53, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

- Redirect to Saturnalia (Callin novel): as the only apparently notable work from the author. Easier to meet notability requirements for works than people. This seems to be a valid WP:ATD-R alternative. It can be tagged with {{R from author}}. -- 2pou (talk) 00:34, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- Comment, Saturnalia is definitely wikinotable with numerous reviews including by Analog Science Fiction and Fact, Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, Science Fiction Review, Fantasy Review, and Science Fiction Chronicle, plus a Locus Award nomination (reviews/award listed here) so at the very least a "redirect" looks appropriate. - Comment, WP:NAUTHOR requires a person's work(s) to be "significant or well-known", with Deborah's Children winning an Analog (readers) Award, and The Carhart Shale placing third this part is probably met, but is multiple reviews for one work, Saturnalia, and one review for A Lion on Tharthee (in Science Fiction Chronicle, listed here) enough to meet the 2nd part ie. "such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work ... or reviews."? Coolabahapple (talk) 10:48, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
