This is a BLP on a collegiate football player that doesn't pass the standards of either WP:NCOLLATH or WP:NGRIDIRON. All coverage is game reporting on games in which he played and is, therefore, WP:ROUTINE. There is no biographical coverage as such. Wolfson5 (talk) 21:04, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

- Keep. Passes WP:GNG with extensive significant coverage, and arguably also passes prong 3 of WP:NCOLLATH as some of the coverage (AP, ESPN, Yahoo Sports) is national in scope. Smith was the lead running back and return specialist for Michigan, an elite Power Five team, in 2010. He was also the first Michigan player to score rushing, passing and receiving touchdowns in the same game (and also the recipient of Jadeveon Clowney's famous decapitation hit in the 2013 Outback Bowl). He received abundant coverage focused on him, not just passing mentions in game coverage. Many such sources are already included in the article. Cbl62 (talk) 22:10, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

- Keep. Meets WP:GNG and WP:BASIC, per Cbl62's sources. Ejgreen77 (talk) 23:43, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
- Keep. Meets WP:GNG and WP:NCOLLATH. Cbl62 has found quite a bit of information to show this WP:N Lightburst (talk) 00:18, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Withdraw as Nom due to coverage found by Cbl62 dated after 2012. All the coverage prior to 2012 is simply Smith being mentioned in game reports, which is ROUTINE; it doesn't matter if Smith is mentioned in 10,000 different articles in RS if those articles are simply ROUTINE coverage about his profession (in this case game reportage). But the post-2012 coverage are not game reports, are not routine, and are significant enough to pass WP:ANYBIO. Wolfson5 (talk) 00:52, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
