Plans (improvements and MfD or other pruning)
[edit]I'm going to be improving some parts, and pruning others. I'm outlining my plans here, before I go through with them. If anyone has comments, feel free to reply.
Planning to improve:
- Babel templates (I might replace them all with one, and make the others front-ends or something...)
- documentation/main page
Planning to MfD:
- color templates redundant to User:PC-XT/KIS/color specifically WP:KIS/Green
- unused project labels WP:KIS/WPSciFi, WP:KIS/WPTV, WP:KIS/WPHorror, WP:KIS/WPFilms and WP:KIS/WPActor
- unused state labels WP:KIS/AK, WP:KIS/AL, WP:KIS/AZ, WP:KIS/CO and WP:KIS/CT are redundant to WP:KIS/US state with parameter
(I'll add other pages here as I go through them.)
More notes are in User:PC-XT/KIS -PC-XT+ 07:39, 5 July 2013 (UTC) -PC-XT+ 08:58, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- I think the colors are sorted out. I'm leaving the project labels alone for now. The state and nation label groups are nearly redundant to KIS/US state and KIS/nation labels, but there are a few differences, and some tweaks may be needed. The unused KIS/AK etc. link to the state articles, and KIS/US state links to state WikiProjects. The option could easily be provided, but there was probably consensus to change the link to the WikiProjects. —PC-XT+ 07:05, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, now the state templates are redundant. I'll do the same with the nation templates, and either nominate them all at once or as I find them redundant and unused. I may save the used ones for last. —PC-XT+ 07:41, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
- I don't see a way to nominate multiple items at MfD, so I guess I'll nominate as I merge from now on. —PC-XT+ 03:19, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

Ias' new KIS userboxes
[edit]I,,.iasO 09:00, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
I made a new userbox
[edit]Hi! This is my first template, so recommendations and corrections on my markup are much-appreciated. It's over at User:Bowler the Carmine/KIS/pronouns. There's no standard userbox equivalent for it, but it covers all the standard pronoun userboxes. Bowler the Carmine (they/them | talk | contribs) 23:13, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
Extremely similar titles
[edit]I asked this in the Wikipedia:Keep it short and simple talk page, but then realized the page hasn't been edited since 2014. (I deleted my comment there because of WP:CROSS-POST.) WP:Keep it simple redirects to Wikipedia:Keep it short and simple, and has no mention of this page. The only difference between this page and the WP:Keep it simple redirect is the capitalization. Should I change the redirect to a disambiguation page, or change the template in Wikipedia:Keep it short and simple to also have this page in mind? GameTriangle (talk) 02:03, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
- I have decided to be bold and mention this page in Wikipedia:Keep it short and simple to avoid confusion. ▶ GameTriangle (talk ) 03:30, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
