bmwdean.com

This personal website has been repeatedly spammed by Jeffrey M Dean and his various sock puppet articles. When he was unblocked it was on strict condition that he didn't push his own website, but as you will see from some of his recent contributions this has not been the case. He has now steered away from BMW motorcycle related articles - not least because his addition of his own link was reverted - but adding the site to the blacklist would stop it once and for all. --Biker Biker (talk) 09:33, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

SPA link canvasser now adding content with links

I reverted a bunch of links by this user and warned them not to canvas. Now (per the suggestion on another user) they are doing pretty much the same thing, except adding content and using the link as a ref, though in many cases, not very substantive content. I think we have lost the war with spammers. Obvious cases can be reverted but as Wikipedia gets more important, the spammers can take more time and exploit our weaknesses.
