Hemokinski ligand 6 (C-X-C motiv) jest mali citokin koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom CXCL6 sa hromosoma 4. Pripada porodici hemokina CXC koja je poznata i kao granulocitni hemotaksijski protein 2 (GCP-2). Kao što mu prijašnji naziv govori, CXCL6 je hemoatraktant za neutrofilne granulocite.[5][6] Izaziva hemotaksijske efekte interakcijom sa CXCR1 CXCR1 i CXCR2.[6] Na ljudskom hromosomu 4 gen za CXCL6 nalazi se u grupi sa drugim CXC hemokinskim genima.[7][8]
