Clean up

This list should be capitalized according to standard English rules and Wikipedia guidelines. Only the start of a sentence or a proper noun should be capitalized, not everything. Also, why not link the proper name of an item instead of hiding it in a piped link? For example, current entry:

World's Largest Cowboy Hat & Boots, Seattle, Washington, USA

Could be reformulated so it is clearer:

World's largest cowboy hat and boots: Hat 'n' Boots, Seattle, Washington, USA.

I think the original source is part of the problem - from what I can tell it repeats items there. Shediac is entitled to the claim. Contradiction Tag and List format.

A contradiction tag was placed in this article in February of 2009 with no explanation. Of course after reading the article, no explanation is needed. While I understand the concept that many people can claim a thing which does not necessarily make it so, there is no reference to this concept, save for what I put in today. This article seems to be nothing more than a list of contradictory largest attractions and does not meet Wiki's standard as an article. Removed "World's Largest Booty" in Ireland pending confirmation

"World's Largest Booty"? I was skeptical, because of the slang meaning for "booty" (woman's bottom) and because I couldn't imagine what else the 'largest booty' might be. A web search led only to photos of women. I also tried searching for treasure trove, treasure chest, and so on, with no results for Ireland. I found the edit that added this item was made on 21 Nov 2010, by someone with only 1 other contribution in their history. Maxie the goose and the pecan and most of the others I listed are already recognized elsewhere in Wikipedia as worlds largest. Maybe a couple like the toilet paper need another source.

blogs are not RS, so cannot be used. Also many of the Missouri ones are not in fact sole claims. There is (for example) at least one other claim for the worlds largest Pecan nut. Can we agree that the chess piece in St. Louis Missouri is the largest?

Which fork is largest

It appears that Oregon has the world's tallest fork, but not the fork with the greatest mass.

Atlas Obscura suggests - https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/worlds-largest-fork - Oregon's is taller and that Missouri's has more mass.

Both are taller than the Swiss fork officially recognized by Guinness - https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/71355-largest-fork-cutlery.

How might this Wikipedia page give each the recognition they deserve?

Guinness says Fork of Fevey is 26 feet

Missouri and Oregon are both taller

Guinness acknowledges published records may become outdated.

That is the policy of this page with respect to such situations?

And with regards to tallest buildings… there are multiple criteria… occupied floor, roof height, radio tower height.

In the case of the fork what are this page's criteria? Are we willing to recognize that tallest is one criteria for large… or May just be tallest… and that another criteria may be mass, whereupon a shorter fork of denser metal May be recognized as "fork with largest mass"?

Does everyone recognize and agree that Robert Wadlow is recognized as the World's tallest man, ever… living or deceased?
