==Welcome to The Wikipedia Adventure!==

:::::Hi Jeriqui123!  We're so happy you wanted to play to learn, as a friendly and fun way to get into our community and mission.  I think these links might be helpful to you as you get started.::::::* The Wikipedia Adventure Start Page::::::* The Wikipedia Adventure Lounge::::::* The Teahouse new editor help space::::::* Wikipedia Help pages-- 14:33, Monday, January 28, 2019 (UTC)

==Well done!==Well done on doing the Wikipedia Adventure. You've acquired 14 out of the 15 badges (with 'Advisor' just left to get). There's a couple of duplicates - don't worry about that, and if you get any more of the above 'Welcome to the Wikipedia Adventure!' messages like the one above, you can delete any or all of them, if you wish. (I've just cleared out a duplicate for you.) Regards from the Teahouse. Nick Moyes (talk) 09:44, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

Your thread has been archived

Hi Jeriqui123! You created a thread called How To Become A Volunteer / Admin at Wikipedia:Teahouse, but it has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days. You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please create a new thread. Archival by Lowercase sigmabot III, notification delivery by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} (ban this bot) or {{nobots}} (ban all bots) on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:03, 31 January 2019 (UTC)

First, more experience

The people who help at Teahouse - either officially hosts, or drop-ins, like me - have lots of experience in editing, and in creating articles, and so are suited to give advice to newbies. I suggest you put in time improving articles before circling back to help others. David notMD (talk) 12:22, 5 February 2019 (UTC):And while appreciated, don't be so fast to dole out Barnstars for acts as simple as leaving a message on someone's Talk page. And a last piece of advice: Be leery about posting a question at Teahouse. I've seen editors start with one question there, that resulted in all of their past edits being reviewed, being reprimanded for edit-warring, and even being blocked for bad behavior. Better to stay out of the spotlight. David notMD (talk) 14:51, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

Community feedback is invited.

(bad hand sock, globally locked, see wikidata discussion) and JayBot (testwiki bot request). The is also suspicious activity at Jnr.void's user page (the account has no edits, but the user page and talk page were created by JJBullet). --DannyS712 (talk) 19:42, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
Here is a list of the accounts that are  Technically indistinguishable to you on en.wiki:
Now, I may be able to believe that some of these aren't you. I am unwilling to believe, however, that there are this many people in one location who are that interested in Wikipedia. The behaviour of PickledScrunchy also really looks like you. The technical data does leave some room for ambiguity, but at this time, I think you are lying about the extent of your use of alternate accounts, and I am blocking you as a CheckUser block. TonyBallioni (talk) 20:02, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

July 2019

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Miscellaneous

  • Following a research project on masking IP addresses, the Foundation is starting a new project to improve the privacy of IP editors. The result of this project may significantly change administrative and counter-vandalism workflows. The project is in the very early stages of discussions and there is no concrete plan yet. Admins and the broader community are encouraged to leave feedback on the talk page.
  • The new page reviewer right is bundled with the admin tool set. Many admins regularly help out at Special:NewPagesFeed, but they may not be aware of improvements, changes, and new tools for the Curation system. Stay up to date by subscribing here to the NPP newsletter that appears every two months, and/or putting the reviewers' talk page on your watchlist.

Since the introduction of temporary user rights, it is becoming more usual to accord the New Page Reviewer right on a probationary period of 3 to 6 months in the first instance. This avoids rights removal for inactivity at a later stage and enables a review of their work before according the right on a permanent basis.

  • Editors using the mobile website on Wikipedia can opt-in to new advanced features via your settings page. This will give access to more interface links, special pages, and tools.
  • The advanced version of the edit review pages (recent changes, watchlist, and related changes) now includes two new filters. These filters are for "All contents" and "All discussions". They will filter the view to just those namespaces.
